If you're going to serve alcohol at a public event, it's wise to know the liquor laws for your state/locality - most are archaic and draconian.

Bleating about the "Police State" because you couldn't be bothered to get a permit to serve booze like everyone else is part of the reason why normal people, who might actually agree with a lot of the things they have to say, have a hard time taking Paulistas seriously.

Paulistinians have one thing in common with the rest of their Republican co-horts.

They are really fast on the victim card.

Gotta be kinda impressed at how fast they cry they're oppressed.

Why on earth would anyone hold a "freedom and liberty fest" in Worcester of all places? LOL, Paultards! Anyone who's even been to a concert there could tell you that the cops are some of the worst in New England.

While I do agree 21 is a ridiculously high drinking age (really, it's just flat-out stupid), these are Paultards we're dealing with here. These guys think any sort of compromise, any sort of social contract or laws that enable communal living are just a huuuuuuuuuuge transgression on their civil liberties.

It couldn't be that they knew this going in, and got the outcome they were looking for so they could brew up some fresh poutrage, could it? Nah...

Misread TFA - I see that this is just about liquor laws, but yeah, the point still stands. These guys just cannot be bothered with even the simplest regulations. They're so outraged by farking everything.

I spent a good ten minutes trying to convince some Paul-fan friends that digital attenuation and analog attenuation don't look the same and that, no, CNN really didn't pull the feed of that RON PAUL supporter's interview intentionally.

Still don't think they believed any of it.

Best as I can figure some dreadlocked sophomore Graphic Arts student initially came up with the 'REVOLUTION' logotype without any association to a particular candidate, and then the Ron Paul campaign offered to buy him a handle of Smirnoff if they could use it.

When the GOP holds events, and asks for donations, and provides an open bar, no problem. But when CITIZENS do this, they can go to jail.

Wanna bet that the facilities they hold those events in have standing liquor licenses? I worked in event planning for years...even when having an open bar at an event like this I had to have my organizations license posted.

Shiftless "radical libertarians" done in by their own ignorance of the law and expectations of larger society OMG how inconceivable!

Huh, a little bit of digging turned up this. I clicked through to the site of the guy who supposedly created it, but didn't stick around to watch the videos. There was a whole lot of not-so-subtle white supremacist stuff in there.

Actually according to the link that was posted from the Telegraph looked like the Police made no arrests and were being quite lenient and the patrons were being douches.
