No. They don't put feet in the bucket.

I did have chicken feet one day at a friend's house. She's Mexican. She ran across the bridge with her two kids during the border guard shift change...but that's a different story.

The things taste like boiled pencil erasers.

Good thing they caught the kitten stomper responsible for the last mutilation. That has totally stopped these things from happening again and again and again and again...

Indubitably: What's with Canadians and dismemberment?

*serious question in play*

A lot of the dismembered pieces wash up on the Pacific coast of BC, so that accounts for all sorts of sordid accidents etc.. Also in BC, one or two men were responsible for the killing and dismemberment of scores of prostitutes and young women. It's not that we are trendy body hackers; it's that we are very industrious loners and when we get a hobby, we really get into it.

This is an unbelievably grim story, ever after the multiple gun homicides Toronto has seen this year. Seriously, by Canadian standards this has been an amazingly murderous year. Chopped up and dumped in two separate cities? Not exactly "unhand my poutine or I'll write you a grumpy note".

Pfft!:

I saw the "criminals wax museum" in Niagara Falls.

My favorite was John MacKenzie, the Terrible Trafficman. Known for his multi-province jaywalking and no-signaling-while-turning streak that struck terror into the hearts of Canadians everywhere during the 1980s, he was tried by Her Majesty's Great White Court, found to be a hosehead, and sentenced to a life without back bacon and donuts.

To this day, it remains the harshest penalty ever handed down by a Canadian court.

Ambivalence: I hate it when you're trying to put a body together and realize a piece is missing.

I would think it's worse when you realize there's too many parts and have to start all over again with more individuals. The spare card table won't help. You're talking a banquet table, and that can turn into a very uncomfortable conversation over those lawn shears that vanished from your garage last time you borrowed them. And now you need to borrow a banquet table because your meat puzzle became too complicated?

Not a pleasant situation at all. At least with a missing part you can always source a replacement.
