Hum....10 minutes???

robsul82: Hunter was clearly expecting SO MUCH MORE and he didn't get it, lol.

That was something. Crowd kinda told him to fark off.

Wow, that was a horrible last 45 minutes. The match was terrible and then post-match was worthless.

Everything else though I was a fan of minus the lack of a cash-in attempt (though Irish was fresh so I can see why he didn't even appear on the ramp)

So what match got cut? Was the Limes/River ending a ref screwup, keeping us from getting the obvious Ziggler cash in?

I am just going to consider this PPV over after the triple threat match which was way better than most TT matches usually are. I missed the first hour or so so I will have to go back and catch the rest before I will pass judgement on this one. Still looks to be one of the lesser SummerSlams of recent years.

That crowd gets an extra special place for the "YOU TAPPED OUT" and some of the boos as he was expecting to soak it in with the wave.

Lousy match, boring, sloppy, but what to expect from those two. It probably ended early because Bork was legitimately injured... He doesn't normally sell worth a crap, so I think it was legit.

You tapped out!

Now we find the true character of the man. What will he do?

Will he stare at the face in the mirror and realize that his time in the sun is over and that he should just do his thing behind the scenes?

Will he take a deep look into his soul and recognize the things he's done to turn the fans against him and work to build talent up rather than put himself on top?

Or will he, Vince, and Steph biatch and moan back stage about the crowd not being representative of the WWE Universe and chalk it up to a bunch of smart marks ruining it for everyone?

2012-08-19 10:55:53 PM
Well, after the crowd's giant "fark you!" to Hunter, I wouldn't expect to see another Los Angeles Summerslam.

It's okay... by the time clips appear on TV tomorrow night, it will sound like the crowd was wailing, gnashing their teeth, and begging and pleading for Hunter not to go.

Are you not able to grab a free feed someplace dear? I usually watch all the PPVs that way except the big ones which I will actually chip in on with my brothers.

I am actually more bummed about missing most of the thread with you guys but I just couldn't get out of work any earlier. I'll have to go back and read through it but that's never as good as live. I am sure the quality was as good as you say though

Final Reminder: Tomorrow is the 1004th Raw so step up your game and if you can mention the moss-covered in the green. I'd place my wager on who gets the green but holy crap, look at my predictions from tonight. They are god awful

It's backwards that Raw is on for free EVERY WEEK and runs longer than the show they expect people to plunk down $50 for.

Triple H looked old during this match. We all know damn well he's going to wrestle again (And probably get his win back against Brock), but he's getting craggy looking.

Didn't gert to see this one, but I have read the thread, Trips is fun for occasional appearances, DX reunions and such, but lets face it, he can't go like he used too. The man really was a damn good wrestler. He loves the business and I hope that this is a sign that Vince is about to step down. Lets face it, this PG WWE with the "Network" idea has been a loser. Vince is no longer able to do what he used to. WWE should have signed Samoe Joe, AJ Styles, and Christopher Daniels years ago. CM Punk has been a rare bright spot in a bunch of horrendous booking. I think Trips is ready to step away, and with Bryan, Punk, and a decent mid card if they let them flourish the WWE is in good shape. But to continue down this road with Vince running it, there will not be a Raw 2000. Six monthes ago this thread would have been at 2008+. Now the show didn't even gredunza. The E is in Trouble.

lulz, that is so true. It will be odd to see a Raw thread get more posts than a PPV one but my guess is 1004 will do just that since everyone will want to nab the Ultimate Gredunza or something.

I would say that it would be Lesnar vs. Gagne at Wrestlemania, but we all know that Undertaker is going to come back again and beg Gagne for another match, because Taker feels he didn't beat Gagne enough, or his guyliner ran during the last match, or Michelle McCool called him a pussy for only beating Gagne instead of ending his career, or something like that.

If you can stand bleacher report long enough to scroll to the bottom of PPV articles, the comments section there usually posts some decent links. Not always but I have found a few good ones there. Some make you take "surveys" or various BS like that. Just close those and keep loading the different ones till you find one that will go without the ad crap.

WWE Universe members didn't waste any time in chanting "Kobe Bryant" during the WWE Tag Team Championship Match between Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and The Prime Time Players at SummerSlam in response to The Players' manager A.W. being released following a Kobe Bryant rape joke on Raw weeks ago. A.W. was informed of the chants on Twitter and responded, "To all the fans that showed their support with the chants and tweets I really want to say "THANK YOU"!!!
