I don't really care to ever see Cyborg fight again.

Carano has retired from fighting and is currently filming a "Fast And Furious" sequel with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Even if she wasn't retired she would never make weight at 135 lbs.

I submitted a headline I thought was a least a LITTLE bit funnier than last week's headline.

Then (of course) I notice this was greenlit.

No cheating and changing your picks after you see mine :-)

Kaufman has a far better chance than most presume, that she's been bet up to +500 is absolutely insane.

Also, Belfort joined Blackzeros today, so bet the house, farm, and first born on Belcher.

Well make your picks and post them then. If you think Kaufman is going to win, make the pick.

I like American odds-style betting, the Tapology format just doesn't fit my eye.

Straight up, I'll take Rousey. ~+300 is where it gets interesting, and +500 is the worst line I've seen in a long, long time.

For the main event, I'm concerned that, as the headline says, Rousey might be looking past Kaufman. Kaufman is far from a pushover. Plus Rousey has been just about everywhere lately: late-night talk shows, photoshoots for magazines, MMA shows, etc. Hell, she even hosted TMZ last week. Between the hectic schedule and the danger of believing her own hype, I'm wondering if her training has suffered. An upset wouldn't surprise me that much.

That said, I still picked Ronda to win by first round submission. I'm going out on a limb and guessing armbar.

Did you hear about the exciting discovery of a completely new family of spider? They found it living in Oregon caves. Here's a picture.

You are welcome!

I'll start a betting game that will go through the next few months. I'll start with a $100 bank, and we'll see where I am at the end of the year. Tonight, I'll go $20 on Kaufman in the hopes of doubling my bank on the very first night.

EEEEK!

Spanning four centimeters with extended limbs, the spider spins sparse webs on cave ceilings. The researchers consider it is most closely related to goblin spiders, but more primitive still. Almost nothing is known about the new species' behavior; even what it eats remains a mystery. In fact, the researchers have tried feeding captured spiders various foods, but to date the arachnids have refused the offerings and perished. Still, its sickle claws suggest that Trogloraptor marchingtoni is a stupendous hunter.

Some nighttime dream material.

consider this: What channel are the prelims on?

Showtime Extreme. Or, a meandering stream near your computer...

Why would you put 20 on Kaufman in the hopes of doubling up, I can drive a 1/4 mile to my sports book and get her at 5-1 or 11/2 ... and yeah even if you don't live in Vegas people with better odds still exist
