CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A group called The Earthquake Movement is responsible for a series of Cedar Rapids billboard ads supporting Sarah Palin for the Republican presidential nomination.

Ww, they actually called themselves the "Earthquake Movement."

Hey there all you proletariat Republicans, are you starting to regret nominating the kind of bourgeoisie swine that make it unlikely your retirement plan will have any value, the kind of pig that shuts down factories to give jobs to foreigners despite the fact the labor was the smallest expense left in the factories.

Well, you can vote for Obama for president and your local republican for house and senate. This will keep the gridlock in place until 2016 and maybe, just maybe, you can find a decent human being for your candidate. Don't feel like voting for Obama? Then write in your favorite candidate for next time around. It's not like the democrats have anything to run in 2016. They'll probably run Hillary and Pelosi on that ticket, the scariest one in history.

They can't let her speak because who knows what sort of crazy will come out of her mouth. But she can go to Tampa and give a speech at some made-up forum and the media will flock to her. She can get lot of people people claiming to be Repubs to show up and say they don't support Romney and it'll just be chum for the sharks. But having her nominated and a floor fight?!?!?! That's too good to be true.

0Icky0: peasandcarrots: I predict a fistfight between Ron Paul and Rick Santorum

Santorum would bring a slap to a fist fight.

Dr. Paul would kick that closeted little hate monger's ass.

/Smart money is on Rick Perry, now that he's off the drugs and back into fighting form

urban.derelict: KS, Kansas, or KS, Missouri, though?

/I'd go with Misery (that's how many Missourians pronounce their home state)

I get crap because sometimes I say "Missourah". I don't even know why.

And either way, man. BBQ fest and Electric Hair Curlers and Darth Mosque. Not a bad city at all.

/fastest way to start a break room fight at work is to declare X BBQ superior to the others
//break room turns into the cooking channel crossed with "There Will be Blood"

Aar1012: Am I the only one who read the article and heard The Brain shout 'Yes!'

No. But if we didn't have ears, wouldn't we look like weasels?

Someone should tell them that there already is a Republican candidate. He just chose a VP candidate and everything.

However, I do encourage a write-in campaign - every write-in vote for Palin is a vote Romney won't get, making Obama's second term that much easier to obtain.

Go Palin! Keep your fing on the Trig!

And it'd be a kind of frothy, smelly, wet slap, too.

Martin Silenus: Sarah Palin will never be president because that requires work and a four-year commitment.

This. I don't mind people calling her "Gov." - the abbreviation for "Governor" - because it ends abruptly partway through, seems appropriate, and I'm easily amused.

She doesn't want the job, 'tards. She doesn't particularly like actually governing.

buckler: her message resonates with so many of us fly-overs

Got news for you...there aren't actually enough of you "fly-overs" to matter. That's why the places you live are referred to as "flyover country," dumbass.

/Not directed at you, buckler...directed at whoever you quoted.
//Lives in flyover country too. Gonna make our three electoral votes count this year!!

DJ Kittypie is all outta rumble. Any suggestions besides Ozzy?

Ozzy will make me chew up the damn chair right now.

I think I need to lay off the hypercaffeinated Klingon coffee.
