crotchgrabber: Piss poor analogy. Should be near beer vs. dark beer.

I agree, we should invite the lead hardcore racist from the Constitution party, the head nutbag blue skinned guy from the Libertarians, and Cynthia McKinney from the Greens. That would combat the blandness.

Or we could arm Romney and Obama and make Ryan and Biden wear funny hats.

Shouldn't it be near beer vs. homebrew?

I do like the idea of there being "Bud Bowl" style commercials during the Presidential debates. Someone should get on that. The taste test isn't nearly as fun with the normal debates, though.

Wow! I did a GIS for "Simpsons two party system" and found the below pic. It's a funny cartoon, but I'm guessing it's (NSFW)

NSFW?

Snapper Carr: The Madd Mann: Can you imagine how bad someone's ideas would have to be for them to gain traction because of Twitter and Reddit?

Done in 47.

This year is more like Anchor Porter vs. O'douls.

Where is our "Candiate" = "Beer" photoshop?

Yeah, that's what it is. Both parties are so very similar. One party wants to get insurance for as many Americans as they can, and the other party wants to outlaw abortions.

Totally the same.

Bashar and Asma's Infinite Playlist: Gergesa: In general, Elder Gods are opposed to abortion because it means one less possible sacrifice available to them.

Well if an embryo is a human being, you could theoretically sacrabort way more often than once every nine months.

'Sacrabort' is the funniest thing I have read all day. Thanks for my new favorite word that I'll never be able to use in everyday conversation.

Ah yes, both sides are exactly the same. How original.

I'll be sure to vote Republican just like you.

Ever notice how the vast majority of beers are inversely related to their commercials?

I.E. the better a commercial is, the worse the beer is.

Dos Equis Amber is the only one I've found not to fit that so far.

doyner: But, in all seriousness, it doesn't compare to Czech beer...
Asahi is pretty good too.
And Carlsberg.
And pretty much everything in Germany.

Czech beer is excellent, as is the German beer it inspired. There's fascinating history there about how the Bohemian Pilsners invaded Germany, whose master brewers developed new styles (Helles) as a counter-measure to keep German beer on top. Not much beats a nice Weihenstaphaner IMHO-- as perfect as a pale beer gets.

doyner: Gergesa: See to invigorate the electorate we need new radical ideas. We need a stark choice between Cthullu cultists and Hastur worshipers. For too long the electorate has been offered this stale meaningless political rhetoric about trickle down economics versus taxing the wealthy. Instead our political discussion needs to include such important matters as whether we should align ourselves with water elementals or air elementals. How is one to know if the phantom of truth is wearing a mask or not? Is he hiding something from us with his cryptic answers to the questions posed to him by the electorate? Why is it that no politician is willing to address citizenship questions that face the King in Yellow? Our national discourse on politics need not be constrained to merely the material universe or this dimension solely. We must also be bold enough to face the elder gods and demand answer from them even at the risk of losing our sanity.

What are their views on abortion?

Nyarthotep/Cthulhu 2012!

Abort the cosmos.

It's more like Piels backwash with a cigarette butt in it vs. Genny Light left out on the porch for a week with a dying yellowjacket trapped inside.

Old Milwaukee and Pabst.

What we need is some good ol' LONE STAR.
