The raids come at a time when millions of Americans are playing other violent games inspired in part by the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The most popular video games are first-person shooters, like Call of Duty.

Oh, screw you. The most popular games are about farming or catapulting birds into houses.

If you talk real video games instead of stuff that belongs to newgrounds back in '99, then it's colorful Nintendo stuff and sports games.

Even then, I don't think crashing virtual fighter jets into bunny-hopping virtual soldiers chasing each other with knives and rocket launchers is on the same level as firing real weapons at targets or a staged raid against an effigy.

Which is why people are taking things to the next level with "fake" real situations like this. This is a terrifying and troubling sign, and I fear the day when these crazed video game nerds take their blood lust to the streets in an attempt to kill the real Osama bin Laden.

I'm willing to bet that the demographics for this thing in the link and the demographics of the people playing first-person shooters on X-Box are a bit different. Although in a perfect world there wouldn't be:

This is actually sick. These people are taking advantage of all the deaths on 9/11, and every death since then to make money. Money. The scumbag is dead, he's shark shiat now. It's time to move on and make the world a better place if we can. The best thing we can do is forget about him, and let his evil memory fade away. Like Hitler, Stalin, and any other master of evil, they all end up as dust, and their works along with them. Taking advantage of this monsters persona to make cash is reprehensible, and we all know it. It's just the same as when Princess Diana died, and they started selling Tshirts and memorial plates with her image, all cloaked in some bullshiat like "remember Diana with this lovey display plate that will hold her much loved image forever" or some crap like that. It wasn't about remembering her, it was about making money off her death. You people doing this should be ashamed of yourselves. Seriously.
