I'm just the cutest little thing. How on earth would I understand politics? Look at my sweet little, motherly face and boobies. I'm completely helpless.

Republican strategist #1: "Good point, Bob. What are some issues that really hit home with female voters?"

Which part don't I get? That the Presidents health care plan offers free preventative screenings such as mammograms and pap smears, as well as birth control? Or that Republicans want to defund Planned Parenthood and force me to keep an unwanted pregnancy, as well as humiliate me by making me have a transvaginal ultrasound if I'm not entirely convinced I want a crotchfruit?
Which part am I not understanding? Fark you, Trump.

We get that the GOP wants to treat us like second-class citizens by denying us access to birth control and forcing us to bear children against our will. And the GOP also hates our gay friends.

On the bright side, it seems that the patriarchy might be coming to a close. And it's about time. As a white male, I think we should finally realize that we, as the favored group, should realize it's a trap. Look at Donald Trump. That's what happens when you start buying this '50s macho bullshiat. It's simply not true, and alienates us from living the life we want under the shame of some ideal that enjoys no pleasure and is limited by some unwritten code of conduct that basically says 1) do not hold an emotion and 2) don't enjoy anything except these few things because you're a big dumb animal.

Masculinity, at its core, is a trap designed to make sure that men are as free as fashion tells them to be. And notice that it's always brought out when you're not supposed to think rationally about something.

Plus....I don't want to have a big, liverspotted chunk of processed meat for a head like Trump. Ugh city.

glassa: If you're not smart enough to realize that NOBODY wants to ban BC or deny our access to it (it's a matter of who pays for it), then Trump is right.

As a woman, I'm so ashamed of my sex sometimes when it comes to politics and how shallow and ignorant women can be. And I realize it's no wonder it took us so long to get the right to vote.

You are flat out lying.

First, personhood amendments that keep getting introduced at the federal and state level that would ban types of birth control (I know, because they've tried it 2 or 3 times in my own state) keep getting introduced. Second, I pay for my health insurance, I'm not asking for anything 'free', just that it cover my basic health needs like it does for any man, and for women birth control IS a basic health need.

Second, anyone of any gender can be ignorant, and many of both genders are, and yet we've always let white males vote whether they're ignorant or not so to call out your own gender as particularly ignorant makes you look self hating so it's no wonder you agree with, and probably vote for, other people who think you are inferior simply because of your gender. (Not to mention that we didn't bother educating people in this country who weren't white, rich males for a long time, so these groups triumphed despite being disadvantaged in every way. I wouldn't say that makes them more ignorant than rich, white men or inferior in any way.)

Hey Trump, I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think that insulting American women's intelligence is going to get them to vote for your guy.

I would like to ask Mitt at a Townhall-type format why he's a member of a religion that believes men can become gods, ruling their own planet, but women are only fit to be their sexual consorts, popping out spirit babies.

The lulz would be awesome.

And instead of treating him like toxic waste, the republicans invited him to speak at the convention.

Good job, guys.

You forgot to mention lack of support for equal pay.

There's probably other major issues I'm forgetting....

OMG! All this time I thought GOP was like the GAP, like a place where these old, rich, white dudes would, like, shop for stuff and then meet to make up laws and stuff. Can you believe that? It's like the funniest thing EVER!

I'm constantly surprised by the depths of their disdain for women (though nothing should surprise me about them anymore). I don't even live in the US and I'm offended. I don't know how any of you put up with it.

PsiChick: A long, long time ago, the symbol of the Sacred Woman was a snake. Then, later, patriarchy emerged, and that snake became a dragon--the firebreathing Lady of the skies.

Nowadays we revere dragons, phoenixes, and all of the other symbols of feminine power. But it's always good to remember that dragons started out in the same sort of myths as the Greek were-animals, where vicious beasts would pluck the rare tasty human out of a village for a quick snack.

Sleep tight.

There's also the theory that dragons came about from our ancestral memories of the most dangers predators of early hominids: big cats (four-legged feline-like body and mouth full of sharp teeth); bird sof prey (wings and talons); and large snakes (scales, long sinuous neck and tail). These coalesced into the most well-known image of the dragon.

I wish that abortion and contraception were insignificant side issues. Instead, we have republican legislators at the state and national level introducing bill after bill to restrict access to abortion and contraception. These bills are delivered by politicians foaming at the mouth with outrage and indignation all the while that the economy goes down the shiatter. Entire elections are being decided by what should be a side issue.

If Donald Trump thinks that women don't know what's going on, I can only imagine that he thinks that republican law makers have been stricken with some sort of dementia.

Trump is just worthless as a person.
