Conservative outrage = a worthless cocksuck.

It was done for Bush and Clinton as well.

Compare the nearly 1,200-word "Fact Sheet" (to the) The 4,100-word Bush document...

So they're biatching because the edits shortened the reports and only focuses on US-Brazil relationships? I thought conservatives hated to read and thought that the US was the only country in the world that mattered, they should love these changes.

American officeholders are supposed to take great pains to separate their campaigns from their official duties.

I'm sure Joe Sixpack is going to say, "I was on the fence between Barack and Willard but, you know, as I read through the US State Department's world fact-sheet on Brazil, I realized Obama was the way to go. "

So the Heritage Foundation is upset because of a PR change at State Department--one that is clearly and openly presented: from lists of facts to relationships with the country. You can make a case for either option--but the only way you'd interpret this as self-promotion for the Obama Administration in particular is by assuming some nefarious scheme in the first place--which you're already committed to and thus need no proof for. So why be upset? If this was some scheme to promote the Obama Administration, why even have an ARCHIVE section where you can get BOTH sets.

I looked up the Paraguay fact sheet. Whoah:

Paraguay is a country in South Obamerica. It is lead by Presidente Jose Marti Olviedo de la Obama.
The languages spoken are Spanish and Obamics. Its economy is Socialist. It has no military, no ecomony, no resources and its tax rate is 100%.

Its national anthem is 'Lets stay Together'

That's the point of an ad that says "Get Mugged by Ann Coulter FREE".

Many Republicans either hate women or they find it sexy to get physically punished by a dominant mistress.

After the Tampa convention there will be stories about how great the BSDM industry there fared.

Has Obama ever denied supporting affirmative action? It's a mainstream political position. This may be hard for some conservatives to process, but there was a time not too long ago when companies and institutions systematically shut out blacks. In the 1980s that discrimination was still around.

Um, the change in focus from trivia to shallow policy analysis is something that the State Department has been pushing and planning for for a while now, man. Like, I remember them discussing it during the Bush presidency.

I agree with you. 0bama's broken record is tiresome. But be gentle, it is all he has.

tenpoundsofcheese: As the dad of a VP once said: show me how a person budgets their time and I'll tell you what he values.

And as a dad of a presidential candidate once said: one year of taxes could be a fluke, and that what mattered was how someone did over a longer period of time.

"He balked when I badgered him for a copy of his latest Form 1040, the Federal Individual Income Tax Return. Release of the document, while it might serve a political purpose, would not prove very much, he argued. One year could be a fluke, perhaps done for show, and what mattered in personal finance was how a man conducted himself over the long haul.

HAHAHAHAHA.

Stumped by this argument, I was not prepared for the move that it eventually led him to make: He ordered up all the Form 1040's that he and Mrs. Romney had filed over the past twelve years -- including those profitable ones when he saved American Motors Corporation from bankruptcy and became a millionaire on the company's stock options."

In the published biography, Harris also writes that in examining the tax returns:

"Auditors notice two unusual facts in these returns. First, the Romney's have never made much use of tax loopholes, such as depletion allowances, that are taken for granted by most people who reach their bracket. Second, over the 12-year period, they have donated an average of 19 percent of each year's adjusted gross income to their church."

Looks like Mitt's father didn't believe in paying the absolute minimum possible tax, and was open about his finances.

Such a shame how his boy turned out. Guess a life of privilege tends to make an entitled elitist.
