Well, that wasn't too biased of an article. Nope.

Of course Prissypants McKilljoy HUSSEIN Shamalamadingdong Fartbongo S. Preston, Esquire the Third won't ride Bumper Cars... he thinks he's too good.

I mean, the "man" insists on using a knife and fork to eat a pork chop instead of just ripping it apart with his bare hands like a REAL AMERICAN©™ would!

And why are we picking up articles from Singapore about Iowa? Is Singapore really that boring?

He waves from the podium and shakes hands on the "rope line," but his words come primarily from the text on his TelePrompter.

Fark it, I'm voting for Romney.

The economy in Iowa is rougher now and even the weather is worse in the drought-hit state.

If only he'd use that weather machine to bring some rain.

2012-08-17 08:56:13 AM
Fair officials said that four years ago, Obama promised he would be the greatest bumpercar driver ever. He then immediately drove his bumpercar into a ditch and started complaining about the previous driver.

/Obama's car remains in the ditch to this day

Every good God Fearing Republican knows the weather is God's Punishment for electing a Sekert Muslin in the first place!

I can tell you one thing having grown up in Iowa, Iowans would elect beer to the White House if it could.

They are a good and noble people.

However it would be nice for the primaries to start in different states. Set up a rotation or something. Iowa has way too much say currently.

Yes, I blame them for John McCain.....

I don't know if it's in a ditch, but it's still riding like an '88 Corolla.

There has been a disturbing lack of amusing candidate pictures this election compared to 2008. Secret Service, I am disappoint.

Look, I was not a fan of George W. Bush, but if I met him when he was President, I would've gladly shaken his hand. It's not every day you get to meet the President... And you may not get the opportunity again...

There must be a lull in canings and hangings...

Don't forget he was a secret muslin in Singapore so it's pertinent to their issues.

His head might snap back and to the left, back and to the left, back and to the left, when a teenaged girl slams into his bumper car.

/Because heads have inertia, especially President Obama's head.

2012-08-17 12:01:32 PM
Given the rates people are fainting while in Obama's presence, it just poses too much risk for accidents and the carnies who run the fair probably only carry the minimum amount of insurance.

With the bumper car threat from China I understand the Secret Service can have concerns.

You know that carnival that comes to town every year?
Well this year it came with a ride called the Mixer.
The man said "Keep your head and arms inside the mixer at all times." But President Obama, he was a
daredevil, just like his old man. He was leaning out saying, "Hey
everybody! Look at me, look at me!" POW! He was decapitated. They found
his head over by the snowcone concession.

2012-08-17 12:06:39 PM
he needs the state more than ever

From what I'm seeing on the electoral maps, Romney needs it far more than Obama does.

Remember when W. was president and we were told to respect the office? What is different about Obama? There must be something that makes him different than all the previous presidents because the old rules have suddenly changed.

I just can't put my finger on it.

No, Republicans disrespected the office when Clinton was president, too. You only respect the office if a Republican is President.

As John Boehner pointed out earlier this week, Obama's blaming everyone except himself for the drought.

Shame on you, Mr. President. Admit responsibility

That's the secret service's job. To not let the president go number 1 on bumper cars.

Same here, though I would do so while saying "I disagree with virtually all of your policies and truly believe you have led this country down a very dark road."

But leave it to conservatives to act like what they are: petulant children that throw tantrums whenever they can't get their way.

He's the president, couldn't he just have his own mil spec, SS approved bumper car? Also, it would be hilarious to see the SS guys pile on each person who bumps him.

They should let him have his fun while he still has unlimited access to taxpayer's funds.

Singapore kicks ass.

No wait, that's Australia. Singapore paddles your ass.

It's not so much a totalitarian dictatorship or Nanny State as a whole country run by an HOA.

Anybody ever watch Tripping the Riff, a SF comedy CGI cartoon that is slightly naughty and topical? They did an episode where Chode is sentenced to death for littering.  The connection between the HOA Fascist mentality and that case of the American kid who threw some gum on the sidewalk was made clearly.

On a serious note, what is the president doing riding around in bumper cars when the economy is so screwed up, anyway? Was he not elected to fix problems instead of goofing around? I am certain that the traffic problems and fair congestion and the several hundred feet and cavity search pat downs necessary to keep his safety would actually NEGATIVELY impact the grosses at the fair. I did not even go to my state fair this year because the highway had too much traffic. Carnies lost all the money I would have spent because the roadways are clogged.

Guess what, Obama? I did not build that. Yeah. You get a cookie, slick. Are you really that disappointed that you do not get to ruin countless state fair outings because you want to ride the bumper cars like a normal person and not the most powerful man on earth like you campaigned endlessly to be?

If I had built the roads, you can be sure no one would have to give up on going to the state fair because of traffic.

I'm with Mr. Teacher. Looking back, Republican disrespect during the Clinton years was damn near cute in comparison.

I bet he'd like to go to the Repulseiblican Convention just for laughs and to go into the Chamber of Conservative Horrors but he exceeds the IQ limit. It's no fun for a democratic president these days what with cleaning up after the GOP.
