I live within a 15 minute walk of a Five Guys, which is the perfect excuse. "Well, as long as we walk there and back..."

2012-08-16 01:27:42 PM
Oh, and done in one.

2012-08-16 01:28:06 PM

"Pretty well done" must have been referring to the burger. Five Guys is disgusting. Don't get me wrong, so is In-n-Out, but at least In-n-Out is tasty.

In-n-Out, when you absolutely, positively have to spend 200% more for Albertson's store brand frozen french fries and pass them off as 'fresh'.

... and I had been considering eating well today. Thankfully the nearest Five Guys is a mile away.

Wait. Damn iiiiit, that's just an excuse to walk there.

Yeah. The fries are underwhelming.

The burger's alright, though.

Of course they're underwhelming. That's why you get them Animal Style so you Have " 'Merican Poutine".

If I want a well done, ultra-greasy, over-topped burger, I'll go to Wendy's thankyouverymuch.

The original video is hilarious.

"Lemme dig -- I gotta dig past these fries. Nah, wait up, I ain't even gonna dig past these fries"

*pulls out one fry*

"Let me light one of these joints on fire."

It's rare to find an internet medium chuck full of the good stuff from the ground up, and it doesn't leave you asking, "Where's the beef?"

That doesn't sound like Five Guys to me.

Either way you diss'd Five Guys so I reported you to the FBI, DHS and Secret Service for being a Somalian Pirate in US territory.

That's been my Five Guys experience the 4 times in Cali I've attempted to like the place. The only time it was decent was when I got it in Virginia. Every time in California = grease bomb.

Heh, could be. I've only been one time, myself, because there isn't one where I live. That said, that one time was fantastic.

I *suppose* it's alright for you to not like different things from me. THIS ONE TIME.

Schmoyoho sometimes stretches a bit with their "songify" series, but this one is spot on.

And off to Five Guys I go...

2012-08-16 06:08:16 PM
Damn...I'm 20 miles from the closest Five Guys, so I generally only go there when I'm already doing stuff in NH, but watching that video made me think that's a good enough reason to drive the 20 miles...especially since the Five Guys in Keene has a really good ice cream shop next door.

Wait, what? When did In-n-Out burger stop making the fries directly from fresh potatoes? It's been a while since I've been to one (we don't have them here), but I enjoyed In-n-Out fries "well done" - along with an Animal-style Double-Double and a Neapolitan Shake.

We have Five Guys here, it's decent (peanuts!!). I enjoy Rallys/Checkers, which just makes damn tasty burgers.

They never stopped with their "fresh" fries, it's just that their fries suck ass.

I live in Vancouver and we have 5 guys, not bad.

I heard about a place called Dicks on the way to Seattle and aparently it is the best on the West coast.

I am planing a road trip with the wife and kids just to check it out.

We recently got In-n-Outs in Dallas.....It's decent. The customer service is over the top though. There's a Five Guys in the Galleria close to work. Might have to take a field trip next week.

Those are the autotune the news guys, right? Apparently, my flatmate goes to the same church as them.

I'm not sure how widespread they are, but there's a place here in the Houston area called MOOYA, that blows away 5 Guys Burgers. I've just never seen the appeal for 5 Guys, but maybe it's just the locations around here that fall short. I've had that happen a couple times, where the same franchise in two separate areas of the country are vastly different in quality.

I'm happy to see this guy loves his Five Guys so much. Too bad they don't quite deserve what he's giving them. They're good, but not spectacular.

There is a 5 guys near me. I won't eat there. I tried it after they opened because of what people would say in threads like this. WAY TOO GREASY!

The best is the girl who mimicked what she heard her parents doing:

It's hilarious and doesn't need the Songify to make it better.

And then the Songify DID make it better anyway.
