News from the front:

ODB and Eric Young are now the longest reigning TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions with 168 days as champions. The two haven't had a match as a tag team since Lockdown in April.

Within TNA, there is a lot of resentment regarding Brooke Hogan and the position she has. When she first debuted, the feeling was that if she can help things and is good on camera, then all is fine. Now the feeling is that whatever reality TV show fame she had means nothing on Impact, she's not over with fans and she's just not a good talker in the role that has been given to her.

Kenny King has indeed signed a contract with TNA. Mason Andrews, formerly known as Scorpio Sky, is rumored to have signed but he's been denying the reports. The contracts are per-appearance deals and not weekly guarantees. TNA is signing new talents to beef up the X Division.

Jeff Hardy's contract with TNA expires in February 2013. Hardy, who is by far TNA's top merchandise seller, is described by nearly everyone as having made an amazing turnaround and it's said that he's always clear-headed at the TNA shows.

For what it's worth, some independent wrestling promoters have been told that dates with Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy would be able to be booked in February.

The sheets are saying that Claire works at Universal Studios as Olive Oyl.

I bet she puts crank in Popeye's spinach, which she makes with her 360 Cookware Stainless Steel Cookware set.

Yes. He is a farkhead.

the woman portraying Claire Lynch-purportedly pregnant with AJ Styles' child-on iMPACT! Wrestling is Julia Reilly, an Orlando, Florida-based actress and model. She is 36-years-old and has 15 years of acting experience. TNA Wrestling held an audition a few months ago for the role and she was chosen because she resides in Orlando, where Impact is taped, which saves them money on airfare.

In an update on this, a source notes that TNA was informed that Reilly also works at Universal Studios Orlando-where iMPACT! is taped-as Olive Oyl by the theme park's "Popeye" ride. It is something Reilly has tried to conceal-she did not list it in her resume, which she deleted last week after her identity was revealed online.

We just dont get wrestling. Even though there have been countless books, websites, and documentaries devoted to pulling the curtain back and allowing the fan to take a look at the locker room.

Randy? Dont do it. No, not in the ba.......God damn it, Randy. What the fark. man?

I have to wonder if the woman playing Claire realizes that there's really no going back after this.

Science Fiction may typecast some actors to a certain degree, but she's always going to be associated with pro wrestling now. No one escapes that.

...except Stacy Keibler, but DAMN, DAT ASS.

Claire doesn't have that to fall back on.

Punk and Nash would hit every town and divide up the ring rats. For Punk it's the under 40, and Nash the over 40 and anyone who's seen Magic Mike.

AJ Styles has a shiatty angle going right now. There is a shiatty invasion angle going right now. Show will have more wrestling than you have seen in a month and will be entertaining.

Also, Eric Young: Best in the World

That's a pretty astute analysis. The angles, pretty crappy. The matches, pretty good. Kurt Angle, still pretty good. Eric Young, awesome.
