king of vegas: I have a question for any Farkers here on if this is a "Commie" or "Fascist" link. When I submit links I don't know which to choose sometimes. The article would be fascist I think but the headline mocks the article so the headline is commie right? So which would you choose when submitting this? Commie or fascist? Thanks.

It's commie because anyone who is thinking about voting Obama this fall is a dirty Red/Kraut/Frenchie/Natzee because Socialism.

Sock Ruh Tease: Lochsteppe: Lost Thought 00: It's cute that the NRO still thinks there will be an election. If they had bothered donating to Obama's campaign, they would have gotten the talking points email about the coup planned for October 27th, wherein Obama will dissolve Congress and install himself as Czar For Life.

Thanks for the reminder--just going over my course syllabuses for this fall. I'll need to make sure I don't make anything due the Monday after the coup.

You sound like an elitist college professor. I don't think the coup affects you.

Soon, but not yet. Only an elitist grad student right now. I just finished my coursework in Liberal Indoctrination and Socialist-Making* last spring, so I'm eager to try it out.

tenpoundsofcheese: Run "again" in 2016?

I don't even see him running now.

All he is doing is complaining about Romney - he isn't running on his record or how he is actually going to have better results than his current term.

He said it himself, if the economy doesn't turn around, he will be a one termer.

That's probably why he is winning in every single legitimate electoral vote nose count, right?

I'm surprised this article doesn't suggest throwing Obama in jail after losing the next election just to be sure he doesn't. Or maybe the point of this is to get the comments to suggest they should, just in case.

I notice that no Republican seems to want to discuss the staggering number of swing states (which are now almost all leaning Obama) that Romney has to flip in order to win.

Obama did tell the Russian Prime Minister "this is my last election".

Whether he meant win or lose, or just if he won, is hard to tell.

But if he loses, I doubt he would run again. Post-presidential life these days is extremely lucrative, even after just one term.

Now imagine the size this Twinkie will grow to when Obama is re-elected.

I really can't imagine it. The derp has been turned up to 11 for so long, I don't know how much further it can go.

Then again, I'm rational and I should not attempt to rationalize craziness.

There's only one way to do that.

It's become rather the official talking point since Ryan was announced. It's concern trolling, but the Romney camp can't match Obama for trolling. The gist is that Ryan is so SMRT and srs that Ol' Dumb Joe just can't hold his own against the brilliance of Ryan. Stagnant wages arent a problem when the government keeps destroying the currency which spikes prices in energy, rents and cost of living, all things which affect poor and middle income people the most.

- The recession is not over. We havent yet gotten out of it 4 years later
- the "job growth" we're experiencing is right on pace with what we naturally need to replace retiring workers, which is about 60-80,000 workers per month. There's no growth in the job market hence the
- Unemployment rate going up, despite promises that the stimulus would take it to 5.5% I guess 8.3 is the new 5.5
- the DJIA is doing awesome! Great for wall street I suppose and those who have major positions in those companies. Realize that most of those gains are on paper
- GM and Chrysler are not profitable, or they are at the expense of 24Bn in taxpayer money. They wouldn't be profitable without taxpayer subsidies and they wouldn't be profitable without fleet purchases from the government. There's also the accounting tricks where GM national counts vehicle sales when they deliver them to the dealer regardless of whether or not the dealer has actually sold them or not.
- As long as there's an embassy with 30,000 employees in Iraq the war isn't over. The president has the ability to stroke his finger and get out of the wars tomorrow and hasn't done so.
- OBL is dead and I dont think there's a president out there who wouldn't have made that call. Still, I give Obama major props for continuing the intel programs left for him by the Bush administration when it would have been easy for him to dismantle them or install his own people.

When you run on "you broke this economy and I can fix it" and 4 years later you havent fixed it, the answer isn't "But I didn't break it, you did!"

These intel programs, were they enacted before or after Bush said he didn't care about finding bin Laden?

As for Iraq, there's always going to be an embassy there. The war is about as over as it's going to get. We have thousands of troops in Japan, are we at war wit them? If McCain had won not only would we still be in Iraq but probably Syria and Iran as well, assuming the stress wouldn't have killed him by now and we'd have that potato head with her finger on the button.

A depiction of how someone becomes a retarded, frothing, raging mouth-breather.

First...

old.post-gazette.com

Served to the weak-minded via a bloviating parasite...

grantjkidney.com

And invading your home 24/7 with admitted bias, outright lies, and opinion thinly disguised as "journalism"...

cloudfront.mediamatters.org

And you get this....

elchip: Hurley the Mushroom: The choice in this election couldn't be clearer.

You can either vote for Obama and keep getting free stuff from the government until it collapses under its own weight, hoping you won't be the parasite who finally kills the host, or you can vote for Romney and realize a lot of uncomfortable but necessary fiscal pain is coming the nation's way.

It's Fantasyland vs. Realville.

It's Economic Fantasy vs. Economic Reality.

In Economic Fantasy, the federal government has an infinite amount of money and resources to spend on anything it wants, and any life touched by government subsidy is happy and magical. Once someone starts getting subsidies, those subsidies can never go away because it will hurt someone. Thus all cuts, no matter how modest, are draconian because somebody's grandma will lose their livelihood.

In Economic Reality, we're the brokest nation in history, our government rewards sloth and apathy, and, newsflash young farkers: By the time you'd be eligible for all the government spending you think is good, proper, and necessary, the money for your benefits will have long run out. If you're 50 you have a prayer of being the last one grandfathered in. If you're 20 you're just delusional.

Once the brainwashing and indoctrination is complete, you get everything after. Or, to put it in simpler pictorial terms, a weak-minded and easily manipulated citizen has been run through the GOP indoctrination machine and comes out like this...

mokellyreport.files.wordpress.com

And over a long enough timeline, the rest of us who have a brain and watch this pathetic puppet show day in and day out can't help but feel like...

Mugato: These intel programs, were they enacted before or after Bush said he didn't care about finding bin Laden?

The intel apparatus was actually in place long before 9/11 even started and ratcheted up shortly after that. Radical islam was on our radar (see: Ramzi Yousef) What Bush may or may not have said in an out of context sound byte doesn't detract from the fact that the intel apparatus under his and Obama's administration is largely responsible for the apprehension and execution of OBL.

Yes, that includes waterboarding, which produced the name of the package boy who was later pitched and turned by a CIA operative. Such information and the means by which it was acquired was even acknowledged by Leon Panetta as valuable to the operation.

You're right, Republican obstructionism does suck.

What obstructionism are you talking about? This over-used talking point needs to die a slow death. Obama had unlimited political capital in his first 2 terms and whatever he wanted was passed by the congress. Last time I checked, there were 30 or so job programs on the floor of the senate which Reid has refused to even put to a vote. The Keystone pipeline was 86'ed and although the true numbers are debatable, it would have created some jobs. What Obama hasn't managed to get through congress, he's simply signed via executive order.

You forgot that he had a blank check in 2009-2011 and had congress in his pocket.
