In law school we were taught when the facts are on your side but the law isn't you argue facts, when the facts aren't on your side but the law is you argue the law, when neither is on your side you argue equity and how it's basically an unfair situation. Romney is in this third position; he neither has facts on his side nor is he a candidate with substantive ideals. His only option is to argue how unfair everyone is being towards him.

What's the big deal anyway?

Obama and Biden are out on the campaign trail, saying all kinds of stupid crap, so sometimes Romney is going to call them on it. Big whoop.

I can hear Obama already, "Romney said something bad about me. He's tryin' to put me back in chains! Vote for me if you don't want to be in chainzzzza!"

Is this "Chicago-style politics" thing resonating with anybody? It keeps making me think of pizza.

I can't listen to Rush or Beck or any of those idiots, so my finger is not on the pulse of the derposphere.

I knew we could count on Romney to address the real issues facing this country.

I like how the GOP calls differing policy "anger and hate" but calls actual anger and hate exercising their free speech.

FTFA:Romney lashed out at Obama, describing him as "intellectually exhausted, out of ideas and out of energy." As a result, Romney said, Obama and his allies are running a campaign based on personal attacks rather than "fresh ideas."

This whole talking point of Obama not having a plan is going to backfire badly. If I could bet on it my money would say team Obama will unviel a plan at the DNC to get maximum exposure. You can bet there will be tax reform in there, polish up the loose jobs plan congress wont move on and a few others.

Its the most obvious case of rope-a-dope I have ever seen. The Rmoney campaign takes these cheap shots daily and they are not sticking. I don't think there will be one knockout punch. But I do think the Obama campaign will change gears and take down everyone of these laughable talking points on by one.

I always heard it as "When the law's not on your side, argue facts. When the facts aren't on your side, argue laws. When neither is on your side, call the other guy an asshole."

Which also fits pretty well here.

Well, the DJIA isn't rated by dollars, for one thing. It's just points. (Pedant mode...off! BEEEOoooooo...) Also, even though under Obama we've added about 4M *private sector* jobs, we've also shed a lot of government jobs. Part of the reason why unemployment is still pretty high.

Ironic, huh? Cut government spending, lose jobs, unemployment stays high.

Also, to be fair, Republicans have admitted that, yes, the economy is improving, BUT NOT FAST ENOUGH!!!! warrrgarbl. Like Congress putting the kibosh to the anti-outsourcing bill was going to help unemployment.

And the White House sinks a little bit lower. This is what an angry and desperate presidency looks like. President Obama knows better, promised better, and America deserves better."

Really? The Romney campaign is hinging on the argument "LOL U MAD?"

Yeah I mean it is not like he got us out of Iraq, destroy Al Queda, Killed Osama Bin Laden, saved an entire manufacturing sector of the US economy, added jobs to the economy for the last 27 months, reduced the deficit, held the US government to the lowest growth rate in 50 years, brought the Iranians to their knees, restored US foreign relations and prestige, achieved health care reform, kept interest rates low, and added 5000 points to the DOW. I mean really what has he accomplished?

Romney accused Obama of pushing Republicans and Democrats "as far apart as they can go" and he accused Obama of waging an even more divisive campaign by "dividing us all in groups."

Sorry Mittie-Titty, that was Obama's predecessor, you know, the guy who was apparently confused about the words 'uniter' and 'divider'...

After him came the 'Party of No', they actually stated that they wanted to be known for what they were against, rather than what they were for, and many on that Party have flat out admitted that they blocked stuff specifically because it was proposed or supported by Democrats, most notable Obama, EVEN IF IT WAS BASED ON POSITIONS THEY HAD SUPPORTED A MONTH BEFORE!!!

THAT is what 'dividing' is all about, you dumb farking moron. Jesus, someone needs to stick you back in the closet until the modified 'Talking Points' update is released. Quit going with this Alpha Release shiat, it's not doing you a lick of good.

"His campaign strategy is to smash America apart and then cobble together 51 percent of the pieces"

Romney accused Obama of pushing Republicans and Democrats "as far apart as they can go"

A Republican said this.

Romney lashed out at Obama, describing him as "intellectually exhausted, out of ideas and out of energy."

After Romney literally had exhaustion and cancelled his Florida event?!

2012-08-15 04:20:46 PM
"His campaign and his surrogates have made wild and reckless accusations that disgrace the office of the presidency," Romney said.

Mr "Obama's says 'You Didn't Build That'" said that?

Mr "Obama wants to stop military people from voting" said that?

Wild and reckless accusations are 99% of the Romney campaign.

Romney accused Obama of pushing Republicans and Democrats "as far apart as they can go" and he accused Obama of waging an even more divisive campaign by "dividing us all in groups."

How does the GOP unity trick work again there, Mittens?

Women go back in the kitchen and start making sammiches, gays get put back in closet after having their heads forcibly shaved, Muslims get deported on principle and White Privilege becomes the latest Constitutional amendment?

/A guess.
