(Yahoo)   Obama buys beers for everybody in a fair tent except the Romney supporter then snobbishly asks for a knife and fork to eat a pork chop. Truly history's greatest monster   (news.yahoo.com ) divider line

Obama also refused to eat pork cops until he asked for a knife and fork.

Translation: Obama asked for a fork and knife to eat a pork chop. Managed to restrain from eating until he was handed said fork and knife.

Did I miss something though? Have people become such gluttonous pigs, pork chops are now considered finger food?

If he had bought a beer for Romney sign guy, they would have called him weak and too willing to compromise, and what do you think he's going to do when brown people seekrit muslin turrur 9/11 ?

Well, the knife and fork thing is mainly smoke and mirrors, a fake issue raised by people who just want to seem "concerned" for their own trollish purposes. Seriously, people, grow up. But the other issue, the fact that Obama apparently does not want to include all Americans in his distribution of resources and is willing to implement basic loyalty tests for basic necessities such as food and drink? That's truly concerning.

There are other concerns here as well. I cannot be alone in noticing that there have been a growing number of events over Mr. Obama's presidency that seem to revolve around beer. Beer summits, beer at sporting events, now beer distribution at campaign events. In a country in which binge drinking is an ever-growing problem among our youth, the question must be asked as to whether our president is setting a terrible example. Does beer belong in a campaign event? In the middle of the day? Can Mr. Obama go one event without beer? Could this be some hidden sign of alcoholism, even? A cry for help?

And consider the pork chop. Mrs. Obama has made quite the case of "healthy eating," of even denouncing our right to unlimited snacking on fatty foods and soft drinks. She wants Americans to labor in gardens, to turn vegetarian. She even attacked a recent gold medalist for daring to eat at McDonald's. And now Mr. Obama is eating a pork chop? What are to make of this mixed message, this conflict from our number one and number two citizens? Even more worrisome, could this represent a fundamental divide between them? Could we be witnessing the beginning of the end of their relationship?

Think about that. What would it mean for the first couple to undergo a divorce while Mr. Obama is still president? Think of the trauma that might inflict on young children across America, children who are themselves dealing with their own familial issues and look to the president and first lady for some degree of ongoing stability in their turbulent lives. Is this the example we want our First Couple to set? And think about the fallout from that...Mr. Obama, single in the white house, roaming restlessly from room to room at night, alone. He's a young man, really, one of the youngest presidents we've ever had. How long before he must succumb to his physical needs, his need for female companionship?

And that presents all kinds of other worries. Spy agencies throughout history have exploited the lonely man for their own ends. It's a technique called the "honey pot," where a wily female agent "allows" herself to be seduced, then begins to slowly turn her mark against America and to the service of her foreign controllers. Can we risk having an American president susceptible to such a ploy? Can we?

There are real concerns here, folks. Don't focus on silly things like forks and knives.

Ooooh, look at the fussy little dainty boy! Let me bring you the proper implement, your majesty! Do you need the little fork, or the slightly littler fork? Shall I trim off the rind of fat and toss it to the plebians?

Obama's epicurean tastes have caused problems for him on the campaign trail.

Eating with a fork and knife is now epicurean.

Finger food? Sorry your majesty but here in Real America we eat everything by plunging our face directly into it. Our hands are too occupied with pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps.

The GOP seems to think that the people they're trying to impress would eat a pork chop with their hands, yes.

Real Americans eat pork chops like a dog. Utensils are elitist.

How come Obama never bought me a beer? I hate Romney.

2012-08-15 01:20:04 PM
In 2004, for example, most voters picked President George W. Bush over Democratic candidate Sen. John Kerry when asked who would they prefer to share a beer with.

Most voters are so stupid as to think a recovering alcoholic is a great choice of drinking partner. I hate having to remember that.

The vignettes are minor, but the 2012 race is so close that every angle counts.

First of all: vignettes? Someone got a word of the day calendar

Second of all, how is the race close in any way?

Because if the media doesn't say it's close, people won't watch the news channels, ad rates will go down, and people will lose their jobs.

Once again, Basil Rathbone HUSSEIN Fartbongo Terwilliger will put hardworking Americans out of work.

This election is becoming like track and field at the special olympics where the kid on crutches finishes three minutes behind everyone else and is told how close a race it was cause everyone's a winner.

Still, that's no reason to fault someone for wanting a knife and fork for it. It's not like he was eating pizza or something.

I mop up the grease with half a loaf of Wonder bread that I've carefully kept in my armpit. I refuse to eat their filthy pocket bread.
