I know that as non-Newfoundland Canadians we tend to give the Newfies a good natured hard time... it's fun to make sport of Maritimers... but there's this. Having known a few of them in my time, and talking to them about living out east, they are possibly the most warm hearted and generous sub-group of Canadians in existence. Definitely a province I'm going to have to experience for myself sometime.

I'd have to agree. Even though it's hard to understand their speaking, or their thought process sometimes, they are good folks.

/some days I wish I could get my hands on some screech

Article: Porter also promises that if he becomes a biologist and gets rich, he'll donate money to Canada's Olympians.

Ah, the innocence of youth.
