Man, people don't even want to post snarky comments about Google+. That's just kind of sad.

So lately Google's been forcing me to sign in just to read restaurant reviews. How long has this been going on? I can't believe I'm typing this, but I'm thinking about switching to Bing.

/The only people I know on Google + are a few dull shameless careerists who want to be on as many social sites as they can because it "looks good" to have as much web presence as possible.

Ooh, this means it'll be even more secure to log in to Google Wave.

I actually like posting to G+ and "liking" things *because* none of my friends are on it. I dont need all my old friends to know what I thought about random shiat on the internet. Its like if all my fark posts were immediately posted to my facebook, I'd quit fark.

Facebook: For stalking people
G+: News and posting

/plus G+'s Android app is insanely better than FB's idiotic one.

Pretty much why i like G+ over FB. FB felt too much like snooping into people's lives i barely knew. G+ i'm connected to people with the same interest rather than the same friends. If you enjoy being a voyeur than FB is definitely the way to go, whereas G+ is more like Reddit/Newsgroups, where you're connected to people based on interests rather than relations.

Uh...why use a social media site if you're not going to be social, or involved with media? If you don't want your friends to know you liked shiat, don't like it.

We as humans are perfectly capable of going 'hey, that's good!' without clicking the farking thumb button.

As for the article, meh. No one really benefits from verified identity anyway. Either you're who you say you are and your friends know it, or you're a massive media mogul who has been verified already before being allowed the account name. I can't even get into a psuedo frothing rage about how psuedonyms preserve the internet because you're ALREADY using your real name on FB/G+. So the 'omg wow did this and someone tracked the dev down and stole her identity and one ovary' or whatever.

I Stumbled onto some site a few months back, just as G+ was a hot topic. The page was smattered with memes about Google+ beating the hell out of Facebook. Easily 20-30 images sucking G+ dick. The comments were even worse with it... I just want to find that site again and see if they still have that attitude.
