Mel Gibson has some issues, probably severe, but people digging into what his anger before the fact rants really mean, are a bit of the pants on head variety themselves. People do stupid shiat when they're drunk and/or emotionally distressed. Sure hold him accountable, but don't read into it and exaggerate it because you want to hate someone and make yourself look virtuous by comparison.

I's still pay to see his movies. He is good at what he does. I'd be a little bitter too if the industry I worked in was so monopolized and worked with pure favoritism based on religion. He just vented a bit too much; and accounts are probably elaborated as well.

His problem lies with being a cranky drunk that goes on angry, racist, curse filled rants that get recorded and played for the world to hear. His ex girlfriend recorded him saying some nasty things, as did Joe Eszterhas.

Mel is a mean drunk that has made numerous racist rants that aren't limited to Jews.
