The argument about cutting it down to 20 minutes is fair. I'd like to see the full interview.

Did you read TFA?

Of course, the Romney camp apparently only gave CBS around 20 minutes to interview the candidates, so they couldn't do the full hour if they wanted to.

I'd wager that's just snark. Or it's happy hour. But the Fox people in the article sound dumber than I ever imagined.

You know it. They could have done the softball interview, then run a 40 minute montage of Romney and Ryan smiling and giving thumbs up to an ebullient crowd, over a background of inspiring and patriotic music and images of sparkly crying eagles.

But no. The America-hating socialists at CBS are too busy fellating Zer0bama to give Romney fair treatment.

Biased? I've seen blow jobs that used more teeth than that interview did. Schieffer did everything but ask Romney if he thought Paul Ryan's blue eyes were dreamy.

Yes, but you know if he did that Fox News would accuse the liberal media of questioning Romney's sexuality or something.

That is completely possible, "You didn't build that." Not to say that it happened in this case, but it is very easy to do.

No no. Twenty minutes of soft ball questions, 20 minute montage of Romney/Ryan in front of adoring crowds, and twenty minutes of time devoted to the SuperPacs who support them.

Speaking of such things, anyone remember the 20-minute "Morning in America" campaign ad that ran at the same time on all three networks back in 1984?

Shocking, No matter how hard the media panders to the right and treats their candidates with kid gloves they will always be part of the liberal media conspiracy according to Fox News and the other derper outlets. A major part of the right wing cohesiveness revolves around the idea that they are persecuted so they will always need to claim to be victims so why bother pandering to them? why? why? why?

On the other hand, "Fox & Friends" this morning felt that CBS was totally unfair to Romney and Ryan:

"It was interesting that if you watched '60 minutes,' you had like a 20 minute piece here, and a 20 minute piece here, and then their interview was a lot shorter,' anchor Ainsley Earhardt said.

"I found it very interesting that 60 minutes played 15 Minutes of the interview when they could have gone the full hour," Eric Bolling said on the program just after 7 AM. "I'm sure they would have rated better had they stuck with that for the hour."

Of course, the Romney camp apparently only gave CBS around 20 minutes to interview the candidates
, so they couldn't do the full hour if they wanted to.

So what.... He thinks they should have played the interview 3 times back to back, unedited? What a farking retard, he's in the farking NEWS business, he knows how this shiat works. Well, he should. We really aren't seeking out journalists anymore, just people who can lie like used car salesmen, but on a worldwide basis...

In fact Fox News argued in court (when the sued Al Franken) that they are NOT a news organization but rather, an entertainment network. They fail on both counts.

I didn't watch much. I like my TV and within moments felt the anger to throw things at it building, so I turned it off. But, I did see that they tried to ask him about tax rates verses tax share and Romney refused to answer the questions. They kept asking him about tax rates and he kept responding in tax share, "the richest pay the most taxes" without giving a number crap. What are you supposed to do, you can't force them to answer truthfully. I have a feeling the next three months will be full of non answers by those two.

Though I did catch the part about tax returns and it seems like Ryan is on a short leash to only release the same number of years as Romney.

His missionary days in France were some of the best times of Willard's life, it helps him to relax to have an identical twin next to him.
