And then some Japanese people would complain that the victims are Korean-educated. As you know, most Japanese people think Koreans don't have any sense of safety.

You are stereotyping a group of people who you claim are good at stereotyping.

Huh. Okay, here. Let me try:

Most English "teachers" straight out of university don't speak a lick of the native language, and end up going home claiming to be experts in Japanese culture when they didn't actually experience any of it due to spending all their time in expat pubs.

Except that I was raised by my biological Japanese mother (dual Japanese and American citizenship). I think I have rights to criticize Japanese people because I AM a Japanese by blood and by culture.

/honne and tatemae, they harmed my free-spirited individualism

Criticize all you like. Stereotyping is for idiots.

/And if you don't speak Japanese, you aren't Japanese by culture.
//The "honne/tatemae" thing is often used by people who don't speak Japanese to explain why they never fit in.
///Who knows if this applies to you? This is the internet, where everyone is allowed to be an expert.
////Including me!

Everybody stereotypes because we are not perfect enough to understand every people on earth. In some very collective societies like Japan, stereotyping is very common. I didn't go to and work in Japan as a gaijin. I was pretty much treated like any other average harmony-obsessed Japanese for an year under my Japanese uncle's company. And why did I say honne and tatemae in my previous comment? Because it's one aspect of Japanese people that I personally dislike based on my experience, IMO. I guess Japanese people don't really like very straight-forward people like myself. But it doesn't matter anymore. I wouldn't go to Japan for now on.

/we're all idiots if you say so
//and we all should be proud of being idiots in many ways
