Weather stripping putty, thats the big difference. It holds tackiness a lot better than putty that dries out and cracks.

Most of these are pretty good. I approve of reading large numbers of these FYI type things because it teaches your mind ways to solve problems. One solution might help in another situation. You just have to keep in mind what is safe or stupid to your current notions.

Because of Yotto's comment I assumed the headline was a typo. It took wildcardjack's post to make me realize what the hell was really going on.

I was not confused as to the ordering of the letters, and I ordered them the way I meant.

I did not see the possibility of "Fix It Yourself" (or "Fark It Yourself") when I posted. But in my defense, the article linked uses DIY and is full of things you do, not things you fix. Or Fark.

Fark had nothing to do with it. It was the deslide website that wouldn't deslide popularmechanics.com. The same problem Generation_D and PluckYew had.

The deslide website added support for popularmechanics about 15 minutes after your first "boobies" post in this thread (assuming I got the timestamp conversion between the deslide-RSS-feed and Fark right), , i.e. the only "trick" to desliding it was that Hardy-r-r tried it a bit later.
