Will Willie Tanner make a cameo as a guy having gay sex and smoking crack?

Let him have the cat already. Or a few.

No, but his creator probably would have for a hit of coke.

I remember ALF. I was always kinda pissed that it was on the same night as I had Cub Scouts.

So ALF is making a comeback? I suppose he's earned it, but stars are never as bright after they've sobered up.

ALF runs on the HUB network, if you have it. I'm guessing this is where there's an increase in popularity. I've watched it a few times and was sorely disappointed with the acting. It was an awesome show when I was 5. If you're up very late, they also run Doogie Howser MD. Even as a kid I knew Doogie was different.

I am a fan of the show, but I am wondering what will the plot be like? Here is my speculation:

-ALF crashes in Tanner's garage, lives there a bit, almost gets caught the first time.

-ALF does a few crazy things, and causes a fire in the house.

- ALF almost gets caught a second time.

-More zaniness and helps Lynn through as problem.

-ALF gets caught by Alien Task Force, spends part of movie in base.

-Tanners rescue ALF, goes back with his own kind.

It is just hard for me to picture an ALF movie condensed into a 90 minute film, but I am sure it will still be good.

According to IMDB, not much in 15 years.

Huh, interesting.

Y'know, as a kid, I had one of them ALF puppets you got from a fast food chain (Burger King).

The ones with that came with the records. Yes, actual records.

The theme was the beach...ALF had a Hawaiian shirt, and the record was called "Melmac Girls".

/Holy crap, I feel old.

You're disappointed in the acting of an 80's sitcom that starred a cat-eating Muppet?

TV Land already tried to revive ALF a few years ago and it flopped big time.

What were you expecting, a puppet? Peter Dinklage in a suit? That's beneath him. The bear in Ted was CGI and it looked pretty good. Time marches on.

I fondly remember when Alf guest-hosted for Johnny Carson. It was awesome.

I'm sure Max Wright would be glad to play a role in the film as long as they offer him enough of that sweet sweet crack.

If you're interested, read up on the guy who who was ALF's puppeteer. That guy was freaking psycho.

There already was an Alf movie. Emilio Estevez's dad was in it also Tim the tool man Taylors farkup brother Randy.

Classic joke from the movie. "What's the difference between a shower curtain and toilet paper" SO YOU'RE THE ONE!

Hand Banana: Alf was also a total racist: Link

I remember a few years ago that making the rounds. The deal was that there was a Law & Order episode, or some such cop show, where a character with Tourette's Syndrome was on. Alf's puppeteer was making fun of a tense scene where the guy kept yelling obscenities and slurs.

I had that too! The record was part paper, part plastic and I think it popped off the back of the kid's meal package. I spent a lot of time playing that record on my Michael Jackson record player.

speaking of Ted, is there any question that its success didn't greenlight this?

although if they decided to target the original audience of ALF and aimed at children of the 80's with a R rated comedy, it might be smart. if it goes pg-13 it will suckkkkkkkkkkkk
