Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce at the same time.

Wish Yaya really would have kicked Torres in the face. Farking coont deserves it for flopping.

When did the Charity Shield change names? The 1st division is all about money these days, since Trevor Francis that's all it's been about.

In other news, Manchester City and Everton have agreed on a fee for Jack Rodwell. Seems Gareth Barry might be on the way out. Interesting.

That ref just blew it. New FA rules state that you can't get a yellow card for tripping Nasri unless you also punch him in the face.

Getting the feeling that this could be a long season for Chelsea w/o Drogba, especially if Torres is playing all 90 minutes.

Well, they were a man down for the last half of the game. It's hard to face a team as loaded as Citeh without all 11 men on the field.

Me neither. I think he might be slightly preoccupied with his upcoming move, so he might have forgotten. We should really get something going in the next few days.

The community shield is about as exciting as the hall of fame game. It doesnt count for shiat and guys are playing at 3/4 speed.

Normally I would be super-excited for that game, but with Bayern's injury list a mile long and the likelihood that Bayern will keep pretending Schweinsteiger is healthy and play him, there's no farking chance Bayern will win.

As someone who lived in Dortmund for seven years, this doesn't really upset me.

I'm looking forward to seeing what BVB does in the Champions League this year. They sucked last year, but I'm willing to chalk that up to a lack of experience on the European stage (exactly why FCB did so well).

As a Bayern fan, I'm actually very interested in seeing what BVB does as well. They have so much potential.

I chalk it up to a few small things, mostly first time jitters. But they also play a really fast, energetic game and are not the deepest team in the world. I think that the game they play is exhausting and would be hard to keep up in three competitions. Bayern play a slower, passing, possession style game sort of like Barca. They run less, they are not as tired, and can maintain their stamina longer.

Again, mostly experience though. The likes of Schweinsteiger, Robben, Ribery, etc. all know the Champions League very well.

Even as a Bayern fan, I can't have anything but respect for Dortmund. Excited to see them play this year.

2012-08-12 02:16:21 PM
Wow, in 12 minutes Bayern are up by two goals. I could stand very corrected.
