you know...I wonder if cannabis would be an effective antibiotic against this sort of thing....it works well on drug resistant strains of staph infections.

Half the population of the US would be wiped out by a plague that could be cured with one puff of marijuana before it would ever be legalized.

yeah, but it makes for one hell of a powerful anti-biotic. it rips the shiat outta drug resistant MRSA and VSRA infections. I honestly don't know if it'd work on something like this...but it couldn't hurt to try it out.

I used to know a girl who gave so many guys gonorrhea everyone refered to her as "the Clapper" until, in addition to their shots, the clinic handed everyone a cease and desist letter from Joseph Enterprises.

And, now, for a rendition of a little ditty popular a few years back in the Land of the Morning Calm (to the tune of Stormy Weather):

Don't know why
every time I pee I cry,

Gonorrhea

I caught the clap in South Korea
I'm dripping all of the time.

In a 1959 publication of Pharmacie, Krejci stated: From the flowering leaves and tips of hemp, Cannabis sativa var indica bred in Middle Europe, were extracted a phenol and an acid fraction.
From the acid fraction, two acids were obtained, of which one preserved its antibiotic properties. In another Czech publication, Krejci referred to two additional samples with antibiotic activity.
The results of tests lead us to conclude that the antibacterial action of Cannabis sativa is not identical to the hashish effect found, for example, in tetrahydracannabinol. However, it was established that Cannabis sativa is effective as an antibiotic for local infections.
Proof could be established that the cannabis extracts produce a very satisfactory antibacterial effect upon the following microbes: staphylococcus pyogenes aureus, staphylococcus alphahaemolyticus, streptococcus beta haemolyticus, enterococcus, diplococcus pneumonia, B. anthracis, and corynebacterium diptheriae i.e., all of them gram positive organisms.

Sadly Gonorrhea is a gram negative.

How would smoking pot have helped the MRSA infection on my balls? Should I have rubbed pot on my balls? Then nobody would want to smoke it.

in case you were unaware, cannabis can be processed into a very powerful antibiotic. against drug resistant strains of MRSA, it wipes them out in no time flat. my question was if it could be used against a drug resistant strain of gonorrhea...which it apparently cannot do. unfortunate, but still - the fact remains that the plant has quite a few medical uses.

just not in this case.

I'm pretty sure Gonorrhea was originally a dysphemism word to scare the hell out of people who got it. It's like a combo of goner and diarrhea. Unfortunately it's lost it's sting, it's time for a new dysphemism. I say, we rename it penal-shisto-festerosis. Either that or blue-rofl.

Gonorrhoea is a venereal disease. I have no pity.

You know, I said the same thing years ago when I caught chlamydia from a barracks rat I nailed and it felt like I was pissing molten fire for a day or two until I went to get checked out and put on antibiotics. Condoms dude. Never had to feel like I was passing broken glass through my dickhole again.

Won't necessarily protect you from a few other things, but you won't have to deal with burning pee, or waking up with your johnson crusted to your leg.

Sorry, but antibiotics don't work for the simple fact that people are too stupid to take them properly and doctors are too stupid to perscribe them properly.

The former don't complete the regimen, despite verbal instructions from their physicians, the label on the bottle and the accompanying instructions; thus allowing the organism to develop resistance.
i651.photobucket.com

The latter incorrectly perscribe them for non-bacterial infections.

It's the legal equivalent of shoplifting.

Well it looks like people will have to have sex with strangers, who am I kidding people are stupid that a disease that destroys your immune system or kills you in weeks wouldn't stop stupid people from doing stupid things.
