David Molnar, marine fisheries biologist with DEEP, said the crab, considered a delicacy in Eastern Asia, has fuzzy growth on its claws, which have whitish tips.

Surely one of the most exclusive traits a creature can have.

It's kinda like desperate guys sleeping with fat chicks. Any port in a storm and all.

I never thought I would find a picture on Fark of someone dropping a load in Mianus.

I need to be lot more careful about the people I get drunk with. Off to the clinic...

Coming to a Chinese buffet near you. Just eat the little bastards into protected species levels. When we get enough we can export them to China. Make up for all that crap eating tilapia they dump on us here.

Mianus paticipates in the Sister City program. Their sister city is Athol, Massachusetts.

Yeth, he did.

Personally, if a crab HAS to be in Mianus, I'd prefer it to be one with mittens.

The key word in that sentence is delicacy. That usually means the flavour is appalling, and one has to "acquire a taste" for it.

I understand a place where it's the name of the entire town, like Athol (which actually is pronounced to rhyme with "hall" not "hole"), but Mianus is only a farking village in the wealthiest town in the state. You'd think they'd get tired of the jokes and spend money on changing the name or something.

\maybe because the official pronunciation rhymes with "Hyannis" or something?

After the zebra mussels, I don't think there's room in Mianus. The other side of the state has plenty of crabs.

Best crab I've ever had. Its roe is like eating concentrated butter.

I'd gladly pay 500 bucks for a dozen, but seeing as how Mianus is next door, I think I'll just go crabbing instead.

That might be the same logic explaining why the snakehead is the US.

/They will assimilate us.

I would like everyone who harbours standard stereotypes about my home state to see that. Most of Connecticut is not like people think it is. Most of it, thankfully, is not this stupid either. But we have our share of complete shiatheads and white trash, as you can see.

For the record, it's not pronounced "my anus," not that anyone cares.

O wait, those aren't *our* shiatheads. Hard to tell the difference sometimes. We get a lot of folks up from Jersey, too. I assume they got lost, if they're not in sight of 95.

well, for the record, since you didn't give the correct pronunciation, "my anus" still stands...
