I guess we can add the one thing anyone associates with his running mate to their list of qualifications which we are not allowed to ask questions about.

Yeah, that's the way that works.

They both want tax cuts for millionaires, so that sounds like a pretty similar policy to me.

So, wait a second. I need a primer, here. Who's politics are crazier, and why. Mitt Romney, or Paul Ryan?

2012-08-11 05:04:33 PM
I often ask this question of Romney supporters -- but, I've yet to get a straight answer -- so, I'm going to try again here:

Those of you claiming that Romney is a shoo-in and that Ryan is an inspired choice: do you really believe that or are you simply posting what you want to believe, what you want others to believe?

2012-08-11 05:04:47 PM
The only way this could be better for Democrats would be if he'd chosen Bachmann or Santorum. To quote Illinois' former Gov. GoodHair, "this is farking golden." So Romney's not running on his health care plan, and he wants nothing to do with the Ryan Budget, even though the guy that wrote it is his running mate.

CLOWN SHOES. These farks have no idea what they're doing. Not a gotdamn clue.

From what I can tell, Romney just says whatever is convenient at the moment to get what he wants.

I know people like that in real life and I despise them.

Ryan, on the other hand, seems to actually believe the loose-brained nonsense he spews. He seems to really believe all that Ayn Rand bullshiat. So, I'd say that Ryan is crazier.

Romney isn't crazy at all (aside from being a Mormon)...he's just sleazy.

Romney doesn't have anything to do with any policies. He's a congenital liar who will do whatever the Koch Brothers tell him.

Well, no one knows what Mitt's actual politics are. Ryan's professed politics are farking nuts, but his voting record makes him a down the line conservative.

• Romney's administration will go through the budget line by line and ask two questions: Can we afford it? And, if not, should we borrow money from China to pay for it?

I think that's a more damning statement from the party of supposed fiscal responsibility.

Vote Romney-Ryan, Because Even We Don't Support Our Own Policies

2012-08-11 06:18:50 PM
FTA: "Gov. Romney applauds Paul Ryan for going in the right direction with his budget, and as president he will be putting together his own plan for cutting the deficit and putting the budget on a path to balance."

Bit of a reach by both TPM and subby, isn't it? If he says that Ryan is "going in the right direction," how does that mean Romney is running away from Ryan's plan? Other than the fact that he's Romney and anything he says can mean anything you want it to mean, that is.

He won't really start running away from Ryan's budget plans until the heat actually gets turned on him about it.

Gee, it's almost as if somebody at the top in the GOP knows that something is going to happen in the world which will swing the race over to Romney.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the pedophile pimp who is pumping a cool billion into our election process? It's almost as if he is an agent of a foreign country or something.

We may all owe Mel Gibson an apology soon.

for what it's worth: I'm not a Romney supporter but I'm confident he will be a shoo-in. Why? because Americans are consistently blessed with the worst candidate being placed on the throne time after time. i'm a fat old farker and i've seen it too many times. when you're old and fat you'll be able to look back and say the same exact thing.

i understand why most people don't vote. the voice of the citizens doesn't mean shiat in America.

It'll be like Dick Cheney all over again, but to the Nth power worse.

Didn't happen in 2008.

How do you explain that?
