It did for me. I was fine until I got fat. Now I wake up at random points on the space-time continuum. Why only yesterday, I woke up in a seraglio. Unfortunately, I was so fat I was mistaken for an eunuch. I had to put on a squeaky voice until it all went away.

Well, if you view space/time as a sheet that was pulled tight with objects that contain mass creating dimples in the sheet. It makes sense that as the mass of an individual gains in scope so would their theoretical impact on the sheet itself. Eventually they get to the point wherein their own mass causes them to rip a point in the sheet to fall though to what's underneath it.
