(ESPN)   Good: Auburn freshman running back has a pretty decent fake move. Fark: It's his high school transcript   (espn.go.com) divider line 21

You'd never have to falsify the transcript of a white kid to let him play sports... stay classy, SEC.

Nope, you just have to falsify his stats. Stay classy, Pac 12.

Messages left by The Associated Press at the school were not returned.

Emails sent to guidance counselors, head coach Keith Spann, assistant football coach Michael Collins and the school principal, Michael Kyle, were not returned.

A phone number listed for Spann was disconnected.

Heh, you can almost smell the rage from that AP reporter. "Oh, you'll pick up for Charles Robinson though, WON'T YOU?"

What ever happened to just having the football coach strong arm the teachers into giving the players better grades?

There shouldn't be any academic requirements to play football at Auburn in the first place. Seriously, my plumber didn't have to take creative writing at plumber school. Just let the football schools teach them football and physical fitness, and if they don't make a pro career out of it, well

Not a Alabama fan, but has any team ever had a better offseason due to the competitors crashing and burning? First, Arkansas seemed poise to have a great year and Petrino had to crash his motorcycle. LSU dismissed a player that many argue is the best defensive player in the country, and then this with Auburn (I don't even follow the SEC, so I don't know how Auburn is affected by this). It's just very fortunate time to be on the Rolling Tide staff (besides the defending National Champs thing) because you know these three instances will be brought up by Saban in recruiting trips.

LOL Auburn player farks up, blame whole conference.

You don't blame Michigan for Penn State's or Ohio State's bullshiat.

Missouri will be able to capitalize too after spending so many years in the Big 12 where the worst that happens is your coach misses a game because of a DUI. What a warm welcome the SEC is giving us!

The only clean athletic department in the SEC is Vanderbilt.

And the irony there is that they don't HAVE an athletic department.

Ironically, the Big Ten has twice as many schools on probation than the SEC: Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska and Penn State in the Big Ten, and South Carolina and Tennessee in the SEC. Source: Link

So whenever I hear Husker fans getting all high and mighty about the Big Ten compared to the SEC, I remind them of that statistic and they usually STFU. Not saying sleazy stuff doesn't happen in the SEC, but let's not pretend that any other conference is any better. Nobody runs their football program "the right way." There is no "right way."

I dunno...If Penn State didn't get the death penalty for decades of facilitating child rape, then Auburn will get a slap on the wrist if anything at all.

I miss players misbehaving, and as their coach, having to punish them in the NCAA football video games.

I also miss being a student-athlete in those same games

And IF you continue to read the article the Big Ten is still behind the SEC in major violations and probation....and ahead academically.
