Once again, we are presented with a classic case of where the consequences will never be the same.

The agent said during the chase, Duffy stopped, pointed his handgun at his own head, fired one shot and fell to the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

I'm okay with this.
He knew he was about to be caught, and he wasn't going to be anybody's biatch, and maybe, just maybe.... in the corner of his mind...
he wanted to save us all a bunch of money.

During interviews with officers, Fazzini said he was contacted about doing a "job" in Porter County by someone with knowledge of the woman's home and her possessions. Fazzini allegedly said he needed the woman to be home during the burglary because she knew the code to the safe. He said he and others staked out the house about three days before the crime after they were provided with the address and a map by the alleged orchestrator, police said.

There's more to this story. How long before one of the three surviving thugs turn state's evidence and gives up the "orchestrator"?

What the hell is going on in the comments' section?
"It would be great if the public could see a list of people this homeowner has allowed into her house to do any type of work. Maybe there is a connection with other home invasions and burglaries. There may be other people targeted as well."

What would the public do with a list of people, hunt them down or embark upon a pizza delivery campaign?

The lesson people should be learning from this is that if you actually clean yourself up and put on a shirt and tie, other people will start treating you with respect, even if you are actually just a huge piece of shiat. There's a lesson for those Occupyers! out there.

If this was true then all these suspects would have bullets in them. Let's hope the next old lady who they target fills them full of lead.

i think that book became so famous because of the incredible horror the story was in the day. overall the country was less plagued by crime than it is today. especially over-the-top ultra violent stuff. truman was a freak unto himself (i'm not saying that was a bad thing), and many people just love someone who is unusual.

personally i wish the book was never written. it was the first of the ultra violent tales that was exploited, gained notoriety and inevitably became fap fuel for others who were mentally unstable.
it quickly elevated to freaks committing crimes trying to become famous for nothing more than being scumbag hoodlums.

"In Cold Blood" reminds me of the mixed-race CT couple who came out in the 60s with their tale of being abducted by a UFO. they were on a road trip and had a block of time they could not account for. within months of their coming out with their stories there were other people all across America with similar tales to tell. there too was the start of a cottage industry selling tall tales in paperback form to suckers.

The house that was broken into isn't that far from me. My ex saw the guy kill himself from the back door of the store she works in. She posted about it on facebook right after it happened and then deleted it, she hasn't posted anything since. She must be pretty freaked out.

Whenever we have a murder suicide type crime, everyone asks why the killer didn't shoot himself first.
