Well it's Ryan, this was going to be an interesting race, now this will be as boring as watching shiat dry. There's always new Doctor Who...

Has Ryan's Wikipedia entry been cleansed? Or does it still say 'crazy eyed granny starver'?

After the exquisite hilarity of the primaries, I was expecting a dull general election campaign by contrast, but the next three months are gonna be funny as hell.

I'm thinking Pawlenty or Ryan. Leaning more towards pawlenty. I really think the Ryan Budget is just too crazy for most people. But then again, Mitt has shot himself in the foot so many times I've lost count at this point.

WTF Indeed: Well it's Ryan, this was going to be an interesting race, now this will be as boring as watching shiat dry. There's always new Doctor Who...

What are you talking about.

Now the Democrats will bring out Ryan's plan to turn Medicare into a voucher program and now we'll see Ryan whine about being treated unfairly.

It's going to be epic!

Only way he has a chance is if he announces Bill Clinton as his VP pick.

I don't care if he's ineligible. That never stopped Putin. I mean, Bloomberg.

Yeah, a one-sided battle that will be over in no time. Down ticket candidates will run from the plan since it will piss off seniors and boomers. This campaign just got boring.

2012-08-11 12:01:25 AM
Ryan will just be a slightly less crazy version of Palin, fire up the base but alienate the moderates. Could anybody really make a big difference, though?

2012-08-11 12:01:28 AM
Portman. Romneybot doesn't want to be over shadowed

And, let's fess up, the debates are going to be epic.

It'll be Ryan and the base will be thrilled while sane people will laugh hysterically.

Is there a reason the thread with actual existing discussion was killed and this thread with nobody in it was greened? What, was this submitted by the Admin that greened it?

From his propoganda wiki page:

"Ryan was 16 years old when he found his father in bed, dead from a heart attack at age 55. Ryan's grandfather and great-grandfather had also died from heart attacks, at ages 57 and 59 respectively."

The clock is ticking. He only has 15 years left to become a failed president.

2012-08-11 12:02:35 AM
Paul Ryan? The guy who wants tax cuts for rich people paid for by starving Granny?

Obama's gonna crush this ticket even worse than he did McCain/Palin. And I say that as someone who thinks Obama is a moderate conservative stooge for monied interests.

It's being announced FROM the USS Wisconsin parked in Norfolk, VA, where Romney is set to speak, and a private plane was chartered from Boston to Ryan's hometown.

2012-08-11 12:03:55 AM
If that's the list then he's screwed. He needed a shakeup to the campaign, which kills pawlenty and portman as they're both boring white dudes. Ryan isn't boring, but his budget plan is an albatross to independent voters, who decide elections.

So yeah, if those truly are the choices, Romney better start scouring campaign finance laws to find out how much cash he can legally keep.

It's worth nothing that Paul Ryan's Wiki page underwent HEAVY revision in the last week.

Lt. Aldo Raine:Obama I mean, if I had my way... you'd wear that goddamn uniform tax plan for the rest of your pecker-suckin' life. But I'm aware that ain't practical, I mean at some point you're gonna hafta take it off. So. I'm 'onna give you a little somethin' you can't take off.

You assume that anything above 2% of the American Electorate would even pay attention to his budget ideas. This is American Leader Idol, get off the stage

The best thing about picking Paul Ryan is that he is a virtual unknown to the Republican base, except those people who are plugged into Washington on a day-to-day basis. So if he hits his introduction out of the park like Sarah did (and she really did for the first couple of weeks) then he has a chance of being an actual contender. Unfortunately, I think his negatives (The Ryan budget, the "not another boring white dude" syndrome, his Ayn Rand love) will ultimately outpace any possible early lead.

Paul Ryan is a fitness nut...this will not play well with the GOP because...Michelle Obama healthy stuff.

All it takes is the Dems to conjure up some scary ads about Paul Ryan wanting to destroy Medicare as we know it and Obama's got this in the bag.
