Normally I don't biatch. But you must be farking brain dead. That was one of the easiest slideshows to operate ever. Clicked on 1 picture then had a forward arrow that quickly went from one slide to the next. My pit bull could have navigated that slideshow.

Beerguy: Psycoholic_Slag: Mormons sure were down with the saloons and booze.

Don't fool yourself, they still are.....

Why not? They still rule Las Vegas.

A combination of local Las Vegas business owners, Mormon financiers, and Mafia crime lords helped develop the casinos and showgirl theaters to entertain the largely male dam construction workers.

Now that the Mafia is pretty much gone they own the town.

I drank whiskey and ate at the Los Ojos saloon in Canyon, NM. In the 1970's.

I've poured scorpions out of my boots in the morning and fed them to the rattlers beneath my bed.

I've seen waterspouts over the high desert when the air was electric and you could see until kingdom come.

But I didn't see even a link to a slideshow with that lame assed URL, Subby.

You an' me gonna meet onna street.

And you're gonna spit chicklets.

Captain_Ballbeard: Boudica's War Tampon: One of my ancestors was being hunted by the law; he doubled back and swore in as a paid posse member looking for himself.

He was also an ex-compadre of revolutionaries in Mexico. He left Mexico in a hurry when he found out he was an EX-compadre.

We have a photo in my family of my grandfather sitting atop Pancho Villa's horse, Pancho next to him. You know, the evil Pancho Villa, who paid him for everything (and then some) they took. A year later, the US Army basically stole all of my grandfather's cattle and took over his ranch, that's how the family ended up in Nebraska. So much for the Right not to have to quarter troops.

America is a lie.

/The Combination looks like my kind of place.

Well, if the word Colonia means anything to your family, we might be distant kin. My relative was a hunting guide who would take Americans for hunts in rural Mexico. I suppose he took the wrong kind of people on a hunt who spied on Villa and other revolutionaries or he at least told the wrong people information about Villa. Word got back to the revolutionaries and a price was put on his head. Anyways, a moonlit trip with little more than what was on their backs saved my ancestors' lives.

Yeah, movies tell you all kind so of shiat.

For example, the "buscadero" holster.

This is what all the cowboys used, right? Ah, nope. This was invented by some wardrobe guy in Hollywood to make wearing a gun look cool.

The first time I was there, a few years ago, I had a very good sirloin steak. Went back a couple of months ago and it was nowhere near as good. Figured a change in management as the place had a different vibe to it.
