Then why did his campaign validate the ad?

2012-08-10 08:50:56 AM
Strike a deal: Obama will denounce that third-party ad if Romney denounces his own campaigns ad blatantly lying in its claim that Obama is gutting controls on welfare.

Or his ad claiming that Obama thinks business owners didn't build their business.

One would think the Prince of Lies would instead be impressed.

Tell us how Obama apologizes for American again, Mitt.

I really want a President that goes around whining about hurt feelings when someone says something they don't like.

2012-08-10 09:21:17 AM
Right after Romney denounces his big three outright lies of the recent months:

1. "You didn't build that"
2. Early voting in Ohio
3. "Gutting welfare reform"

Eat a dick, Mitt Romney, you serially lying shiat wizard.

GAT_00: I really want a President that goes around whining about hurt feelings when someone says something they don't like.

My favorite is when after months of pissing and moaning about Obama's "apologizing" he demands an apology for an ad.

The lies and hypocrisy know no bounds.

Romney's a privileged kid. He's never had anyone talk about him like this before. He's used to deference. It's about to get a lot worse for him.

Yup. I don't think he knows what he's doing. This is a guy who just figured he'd buy the presidency and be a Republican hero.

CEO entitlement.

He's spent the last thirty years having everyone kiss his ass.

Should be fun to see how he feels after the debates...

The article refers to the ad's inaccuracies. It might be unfair perhaps tasteless but there are no inaccuracies in it.

Wait that Romney guy is still one who has relevance? LAUGHTER OL this will be the landslide election. You could replace Romney with "high school janitor" and the odds of this would be the same.

I'm sorry Mitt, I can't hear you over all the hypocricy you're vomiting.

His answer on that was what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander so his complaining now is especially pathetic.

Mitt Romney's campaign increased pressure on President Obama on Thursday to denounce an ad from a super-PAC

Whoa. Obama needs to apologize for a SuperPAC ad?

No, the farking Supreme Court needs to apologize for that, Willard.

Too farking bad, Mittens. You want to run for President, you have to run with the big dogs. I'm sure Obama's feelings were hurt by all the asstards in the McCain camp who had no qualms about calling him a terrorist, a Muslim, a Muslim terrorist, a Kenyan, a socialist, a fascist, and then loads of racial slurs coming from his supporters......but he had his big-boy Underoos on and realized it comes with the territory.

Man up, you simpering pussy.

What is this, the third time that Romney has demanded an apology from Obama over something?

And then Romney goes out on stage and tells everyone how Obama apologizes too much.

He can't even get hackneyed cliches right? Hell, Sarah Palin could do that much.

Another rugged, independent, personally-responsible Republican enters the fray and immediately starts shrieking about his "feelings" when he's forced to face actual political tactics? I haven't been this shocked since the sun rose this morning.

At a church service I attended years ago, the pastor -- a nice guy but a mental lightweight -- was delivering a sermon based around the Parable of the Lost Sheep. During the sermon, he broke out these two colossal clunkers:

"Imagine 99 sheep in the hand!"

"We are all sheep in the kingdom of God's vineyard."

"You know, in the past, when people pointed out that something was inaccurate, why, campaigns pulled the ad,"

Obama can't "pull the ad", he's not allowed to coordinate with the super-PAC. From what I understand, even talking about it might be a problem. Congrats, Republicans, this is the type of result you get from CU.

Romney has no concept of playing by the same rules as everyone else. He can lie all he wants. Why should anyone else have the same privileges he has, even if those privileges are just assumptions of privileges? That's just silly. He is The Romney. Resistance is Futile.

Romney: "Obama should pull that horrible ad."

Obama: "Fine, we'll pull the ad."

Romney: "Ah HA! YOU'RE WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE SUPERPACS! YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL, BUDDY!"

Obama: "Curses! I was outwitted! Oh, if only the Republicans weren't so smart!"

Romney has feelings?

2012-08-10 02:28:53 PM
"You know, in the past, when people pointed out that something was inaccurate, why, campaigns pulled the ad," Romney said on Bill Bennett's radio show. "They were embarrassed. Today, they just blast ahead. You know, the various fact-checkers look at some of these charges in the Obama ads and they say that they're wrong, and inaccurate, and yet he just keeps on running them."

And Romney knows damn well that the ad in question is being run by a Super PAC and that the candidates may legally have no contact with the Super PACs.

The law sucks, but there you have it. Maybe the GOP will be more inclined to change the law now that they're on the receiving end.

2012-08-10 02:29:18 PM
Romney doesn't like that his actions had very real consequences?

2012-08-10 02:29:25 PM
So now Romney is saying he's NOT a wife killer? Does he have any documentation to back up his unsubstantiated statement?

2012-08-10 02:29:34 PM
To be fair, Romney & Co. might've tried to put out a different response to the ad than the initial 'Well if they were in Massachusetts...' silliness, they might not be in this situation now.

Remember the sauce for gander? You're covered in it, you crying rich boy p*ssy f*ck.

The add is from a PAC which Obama has no control or influence over. Once again the press proves how lazy, cowardly and stupid they are by not confronting Mitt with the facts and asking why a candidate should pull an add for something the candidate or their organization never did.
