No bronze this event. Sorry, Canada and Cuba.

Yes. Yes. But NBC is saving the medal awarding goodness for later.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but "grumble". F*ck this stupid sh*t. They've completely botched this year.

They're about to make a profit on a $1.2 Billion investment.

You admittedly hate it, and yet, on day 14 you're still watching. Like a backsliding crack addict you come back.

Botched it like a fox I guess.

i think its just because they were going over the decathalon guys... no idea if they will show any of the real discus. they only showed a little bit of the shot put, which is too bad because i find that an astonishing feat of strength.

oh well, we can root for a southern neighbor to do big in diving i guess

eyeq360: My interest in NBC's new comedies are diving like that German diver Feck. Same with the stupid filler crap between the events.
What would be better is letting the viewers know what competitors from other countries get when they win a medal in the Olympics.

That's an opinion, not necessarily a unanimous one though.

Reality TV is still reigning supreme right? I'd say NBC knows their audience quite well.

Louisiana oddly enough if one of the states that has javelin for high school, and among their former state champions in javelin, Terry Bradshaw.

That's the thing about sporting events: the product is the same no matter who presents it. We all know what we want to see, just some providers (who happen to bid more) don't seem to care.

NBC has the worst ratings of the four broadcast networks.

No he's not. He's just jumping around like crazy cause as they mentioned he had rather serious surgery on his elbow a year ago so the throws and pole vault are a real big test for him and to do as well as he done is a big deal. Also he is the current world champion, so seeing that he is still capable of that kind of performance is just getting all excited.
