ms_lara_croft: I always thought she had a thing for Skinner anyway.

They both did, remember the bubble bath phone call scene? And the thousands of fanfics.

I was always a Mulder/Skinner shipper, as well as a Mulder/Krycek fan for the really dirty stuff

beta_plus: calbert: Gillian Anderson, the Kristen Stewart of the 90s.

At first I was like: Dude, really?

Then I broke it down:

Looks:
Ms. Manjaw can't hold a candle to 1993 GA and even 2012 GA gives her a run for her money

Personality:
OK, I'll give you that.

/seriously, when I found out that Gillian Andersen was a ditzy attention whore moron compared to Dana Scully, I was crushed
//always made sure afterwards to simply physically objectify actresses, that way there is no let down

I heard that, too. In real life, Gillian Anderson is a ditz like Mulder and David Duchovny is more serious like Scully.

PlasticMoby: I could've sworn i read somewhere that they hated each other and it made work on X-Files a complete pain in the ass. Someone correct me if i'm wrong here.

I remember reading that there was a salary dispute, but it wasn't between Anderson and Duchovny. He stood up for her, demanding her salary come close to or be the same as his when word got out how much less she was going to be paid. At least, that's how I remember it.

Scully was kind of an idiot too. She might have had book smarts but every week they'd meet some farked up supernatural shiat and the next week she'd still be skeptical and talk to Mulder like he was crazy. Dumb biatch.

Bruce Campbell vs Army of Farkness: Wouldn't dating just ruin all the random hook-up sex they've had?

This.

You know they've boinked. Dated and such though? Probably not.

I always thought they should throw in an episode every now and then where there really is a rational, Scooby-Doo like explanation for the paranormal event, just to keep it interesting.
But no, it was always a genuine strange phenomena.

NuttierThanEver: Tea' to Gillian?

Survey says?

*ding*

DOWNGRADE

I just re-ran a statistical analysis on that same survey, and this was the result:

s1.static.gotsmile.net

Both are "bite my own leg off if she asked me to", but Gillian is in a whole other class than Tea.

I'd hide my mad woman in her attic.

/English majors should find that one pretty funny... the rest not so much.

Mulder always jumped to a fantastical answer to everything. Scully always tried to jump to the logical scientific one. Mulder WAS a bit off his rocker. Mulder was wrong with what he thought plenty of times. Oh "Hey, government conspiracy!" was always a good safe choice.

Besides, by the time she was pregnant and Doggett came around she was the new Moulder. Prone to believe the "supernatural" answer first for most things. So you are complaining about Seasons 1-4-to-5ish Scully. Her yin yang dynamic with Moulder was a HUGE reason the show was good.

Yeah and it was her job to discredit Mulder or at least keep him honest but after the 20th werewolf-vampire-alien-goatsucker-sewer worm beast-government conspiracy that she saw with her own eyes one would think she'd give Mulder the benefit of the doubt occasionally.

I admit that I tuned out when the T-1000 took over. That was the "nuking the shark" moment for me.

Skarekrough:
The bummer is Duchovny has two kids with Tea and they seemed pretty happy despite everything.

And all the rehab and everything?

Tea Leoni is smoking hot.
But I just can't take her seriously since I learned her real name is Elizabeth Téa Pantaleoni
