That promo makes me rage. It's not THAT farking hard to be a dad. It's hard, but not in the way that show is promoting it.

/Guys, changing a diaper will NOT kill, and it's pretty damn simple.

"Do you know how to put these things on?"

- "Around the butt and up over the groin area."

"Shoot, l know where they go, old-timer. l just wanna know whether l need pins or fasteners."

- "Well, no. They got tapettes already on there. lt's self-contained and fairly explanatory."

On the plus side, it looks like Supernatural is going to go for 10 seasons. They just switched up show runners to one of their former writers who has a 3 year plan, and they're about to start season 8. Plus the actors have said they're on board.

Ah, the CW. They're like the Anti-Fox.

/just started watching on Netflix Instant
//it's like (Buffy - Teenage Crap) x American Gods

Whoa, really? That's GREAT news. I just hope they can get it back to the "soul" of the show, as it were. Make the guys feel like BROTHERS again.

Hopefully with fewer dramas on their plates the networks can afford to spend more on what they have.

Like buying Grimm an overarching plot, or Person of Interest some dialogue polish.

Carth: This is getting made they can't be too picky. That show better have a damned good reason why they can't rebuild basic machines in 15 years.

Another good question would be what's up with the crossbow? Gunpowder's only been around for what? 700 years or so?

Theoretically, I know how to make black powder. Realistically, where do I find sulfur and saltpeter? It might actually be easier to make gun cotton out of old clothing by raiding a few Ace Hardwares for nitric and sulfuric acid.

I trust them to get to that. As a big fan of Team Free Will I'm hoping they get around to trying to locate God again. He can't be dead or Death would know.

Seems like a pretty good mystery to go on for a season or two.

Oh, indeed. My hunch is that has something to do with Castiel's abrupt disappearance at the end of last season.

I hear the first part of the season has a lot of flashback's to Dean's Adventures in Purgatory. He also befriends someone there. (Which I guess makes more sense than Castiel making any friends there, recent history considered.)

I like that it's more of a physical location than Hell. They could do a lot with Hell as a concept and destination but with Purgatory they can actually set scenes there.

Should be good stuff.

Sulfer would be the hard one. Slatpeter can be made from your own urin and ash. But if you have access to bulk chemicals for gun cotton then you can also make saltpeter.

I can believe people using a bow vs making their own gunpowder though. The amount of energy needed to create gunpowder (in a tribal setting) is going to be much more than gunpower is going to provide over a bow. 100 manhours to make to save 20 hours of hunting time.... just don't add up.

As a father to a 9 months old baby I can tell you it's not that simple. I haven't watched the promo to see exactly how hard they make it seem but changing a baby while he's twisting around and trying to climb onto anything that he can grab while I'm trying to wipe the poop off his butt without getting it all over the bed or changing pad is not easy nor simple. Hell, even my wife and the women from daycare complain about it at times.

On top of that, it's a real skill to be able to change a diaper without waking up the baby in the middle of the night and a failure ends up with 45-60 minutes of more playtime before he's ready for sleep again.

As a father of a 4 year old, all I can tell you is learn to do it quicker.

Hmm... I'm seeing a market for something similar to a dishwasher with a cut-out for baby's head so they can still breath.

Continuum is pretty cool, give it a whirl if you havethe chance.

Just happy that Grimm got a 2nd season, expecting some payoffs and a little arc-ness.

TLC needs to be nuked from orbit for all the crap that they keep putting on their channel.

I may go to Hell for saying this but that girl is not cute and she's creepy. She looks like a creepy doll I would hide in a bin with something heavy places on top just to make sure she would not come alive and go all Chucky on me.

It really needs to shift to more fantasy instead of "Law and Order: Fairy Tale Victim's Unit". For a while there I thought the Grimm's power was "Being punched in the head and living".
