I don't mean to offend anyone, but I honestly can't believe that anyone over the age of 13 actually watches this stuff. What is the appeal?

I have always liked it. It is fun to see how the companies try to do new things with new players. It is like any other show I watch on a weekly basis. I also like to see how the matches are scripted and what the crowd reacts to. Mostly it is that few times a year when I have no idea how a match is going to end and I lose myself in it. Sure it is scripted but sometimes it doesnt matter. Sometimes they put on such a great show that my weekly suspension of disbelief disappears and it seems the same is it did when I was 13. I guess I enjoy everything about it, good and bad.

Well, that's fair. Thanks for the explanation.

I can't really judge too harshly ... I watch professional fishing.

"IT'S HIM! HE'S HERE! CAPTAIN STEROID IS IN THE IMPACT ZONE!"

Spiders be damned, I'm back this week to reclaim what rightfully mine: the Global Legendary Television Championship of the World! >:D

Whoever posts Shooting Star Staple Super Press (i.e., Me) for post 150 wins the gold. A miss or botch, and Jonny Chimpo retains until HardCORE Justice on Sunday!

Good luck, fWc FARKers! ^_^

Is anyone going to Bound For Glory in Phoenix? I'm looking to see if it would be worthwhile to have a small Fark party Sat night after the Hall of Fame.

Definitely. I mean, when someone thinks of actors going hardcore Method, they're thinking:

For me it is the fun people in these threads as much as anything. Its like we are all sitting in the theater riffing on the shows mst3k style. I also watch fishing shows, though saltwater fishing only. That is mainly because I fish flats and offshore and like to get new tips and ideas. I dont watch the bass tournaments or anything like that.

For me it's the trifecta of theatre, athletics, and some good old-fashioned fun. I started at the height of the Hogan era, faded for a bit from the steroid trials to the Attitude era, and I've remained a fan ever since. These days I think I watch as much for the quirks, which allow me to crack bad jokes in these threads.
