Police say Hernandez tried to run after she hit the girl

Probably rushing off to post it on her FB.

Earlier today, in the thread about a woman stabbing her boyfriend, I was assured that The Patriarchy Hurts Men Too. It's sad that 1000s of years of male rule created this situation where this woman found herself with no alternative but to run over her husband. Poor thing, I hope she gets the help she needs, and her husband who was arguing with her needs some anger management classes.

It's really a shame we here at Fark try to reinforce this terrible stereotype about women, as if they were somehow lesser beings. Woman are wonderful and just as skilled at men a driving.

Shame on you, subby for perpetuating this stereotype.

Hernandez tried to hit her husband with the car and instead crashed into a SUV and car instead.

She pushed the car into a building pinning seven year old Tasia Pryor.

Maybe she shouldn't have knocked the refereeing SUV out then if she wanted credit for th-

OH MY GOD IS THAT THE GARBAGE TRUCK DRIVING IN FROM THE CORNER?

IT IS! GARBAGE TRUCK GUEST REFEREE!

Swing away Merrill? What the hell does that mean little girl?

Who are safer drivers? Men or women? Well, according to a new survey, 55 percent of adults feel that women are most responsible for minor fender benders, while 78 percent blame men for most fatal crashes. Please note that the percentages in these pie graphs do not add up to 100 percent because the math was done by a woman. For those of you hissing at that joke, it should be, uh, noted that that joke was written by a woman, so-- ... Now, you don't know what the hell to do, do ya? ... No, I'm just kidding, we don't hire women here.

I'll go ahead and get the stereotypes list going:

Driving wheels-on-line or over the right lane-line (left in the UK) - not because of being on a phone, but so the driver's seat is sitting directly above the middle of the lane - because the driver seat is in the middle of the car.
Sitting at a red light for more than one second? Time to dig into another part of the vehicle for a CD or makeup, long into a green light.

Wait, is the little girl being 'guarded', or in guarded condition? Clearly the article was "written" by a female "reporter", as well. :C)

How many stars did she earn?

AverageAmericanGuy: Woman are wonderful and just as skilled at men a driving.

If by this you mean, "Men are terrible drivers too."

Most people in this country are bad drivers, regardless of gender.

Females in their 20's, in an SUV and yapping on the phone.

living in a state where people are paid to put fuel in our automobiles i'd gather this was the pump attendants oversight. now, seeing a car drive down the highway with a huge fuel nozzle still stuck in the gas fill area, that's impressive.

A SUV?? Now I'm wondering if some people actually pronounce that "suhv" or "soov" or something instead of "ess-you-vee"...

FTFA Hernandez is charged with failure to stop and render aid, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and intoxication assault.

Is it just me, or would it seem like harsher charges were in order here?

RoyBatty: Earlier today, in the thread about a woman stabbing her boyfriend, I was assured that The Patriarchy Hurts Men Too. It's sad that 1000s of years of male rule created this situation where this woman found herself with no alternative but to run over her husband. Poor thing, I hope she gets the help she needs, and her husband who was arguing with her needs some anger management classes.

It's the first thing they teach you in Feminism 101: Under no circumstances are you responsible for anything you do. It's ALWAYS Patriarchy's fault.
The second thing they teach you is that if anyone attempts to counter this argument, you MUST summarily dismiss anything they say by dehumanizing and belittling them (e.g. "TPHMT", "Oh noez, what about the menz.")

I don't know what the third thing is, because I voiced my opinion after #2 and was subsequently accused of "thought-rape" by 27 angry feminist coeds and had to run for my life.

You're kind of a one-note douche, aren't you? I already had you farkied as "hates women" but I think dark gray is too good for you. You're the weakest link. And RoyBatty, your whining about what a victim you are is getting kind of old too. Christ, I'd had to have a telethon to get the mileage of butthurt you guys get out of being shiat on by someone you love. Instead, I just had to move on with my life.

It was no secret at my college that males taking any high-end lit classes or gender studies (same group of professors) could, at best, hope for "just passing." Speaking any independent opinion or belief and you'd be fighting for an incomplete rather than failing.

/It's what happens in any zealot-based circle-jerk.

It's the type of thing that's so absurd you don't really consider that anyone would take it seriously. And when they do, you don't know whether to be greatly amused, or give up on humanity once and for all...

from my experience the absolute worst drivers are young black men driving hoopties. Sad part is I don;t think they're bad because they lack the skill but because they have ZERO road courtesy, zero manners and have no concept of adherence to traffic laws..
