PaulieattheTap: Handball is a cool sport. I have watched hours of it this week. It could be the summer replacement of Curling.

Agreed. Handball was baseketball long before that movie was even conceived. We used to play it in back in high school gym class. Really fun mix of soccer and basketball, with a little lacrosse or field hockey for good measure (in terms of the amount and type of body contact allowed).

Now That's What I Call a Taco!: Ashton Eaton deserves so much more publicity than he gets.

I wonder if NBC backed away from decathletes after the whole Dan and Dave fiasco.

Eaton and Hardee deserve all the hype those two got and so much more.

Misty and Kerry are holding hands while talking to Costas. With all the butt slapping they do, my mind has gone to a wonderful place.

The two most winning volleyball players of all time. They're unbelievable, sorry if you can't appreciate greatness.

/though I'd much rather the interview be done on good morning america or whatever nbc's show is and instead they'd show some sports american's aren't the favorite in

From what I picked up from a girl I knew in water polo, the sport essentially revolves around either trying to rip the opponents top off, or shoving your hand/their suit up the opponents ass. They would wear 2 or 3 suits in case the first one got torn off.

If this is what you see with cameras everywhere (including underwater) in the Olympics, just image what happens in the minors when no one can see what you do underwater.

Just think. They paid 3 billion (or whatever) dollars to not show the Olympics, but to promote their upcoming (soon to be canceled) fall lineup.

They're really screwing us over. I'm sorry, but finding their crap streaming (even with access) and waiting for it to stream is a useless activity.

I also like watching a slightly larger screen with family members, rather than huddling around a 13" monitor.

Sadly the Matthew Perry sitcom was NBC's best coverage of the Olympics. Was kind of funny too

Uh, it's called a home theater pc or hooking the hdmi port on the laptop into the big screen. I've been watching the HD feeds on my 42" screen since the first night.

there their theyre: Was kind of funny too

I enjoyed it also. It's tough to judge a show on the pilot, they have to get all the characters and the basic set-up all crammed in.

However, this does have the potential to have many back story episodes and room to grow. The montage of several of the characters at night was pretty good.

I will see where it goes and hope NBC actually lets the show develop unlike what they did with that last Matthew Perry show (about the arena which also had potential for all kinds of stuff).

Maybe they don't think it is cool to have Obama ads that complain about Romney making you uninsured, even though you really still had insurance, and that your wife got cancer half a decade after Romney was no longer running the company.

One could construct a Venn diagram with Group A representing men who think beach volleyball at the Olympics is hot, and Group B representing men who think the Hooters waitress is coming on to them. The diagram would form an almost complete circle.
