Stevie Wonder's Innervisions and a Patsy Cline greatest hits disc Not too bad.

/anything more than a single disc Patsy Cline greatest hits album is too much.

It's a damn good album.

Darius Rucker is pretty cool. Every year he does a back to school concert where needy families can get supplies.

Boy I hate autostart videos you can't pause or mute. Well, maybe you could mute, but the window didn't stay open long enough for me to find out for some reason. :P

Where does it say he paid up?

Subby here: The article said that @NotJakeOwen hadn't paid up yet. (That's my bad, submitting an older version of the article).

Here is the tweet where he shows he indeed sent St. Jude $500 to make good on the bet.

Rapmaster2000: Greatest hits albums are for housewives and little girls!

Ah, but they didn't take into account that back in those days, there really were no LP albums. The reason every Hank Williams CD, for example, is a greatest hits package is because the songs were all originally released as singles.

Of course after what Broadway did to Johnny Cash I understand the resentment.

If you were a teenager in the 90s, it's about a 90% probability you owned that album. If you threw your copy away, 3 more would spring up in its place.

No you're mistaken, that was Pearl Jam's Vitality.

That thing multiplied like gremlins. It was so awful, but we'd throw a part, someone would bring their copy, and in the morning there would be 5 of them on the DJ booth.

i don't do twitter and this is the first i've heard of this event. i am curious as to what brought on the guy's doubt that darius owned the best of patsy cline, the reason he felt the need to tweet about it, and why it matters whether he owned said album?

i know it's a lyric in a song by darius...why would he lie about it?

I used to have a record collection of 1500 albums until the the flood of 1994. Sad day tossing those in the junk yard. I've never counted my CD's but I've got 4 or 5 library shelves full of 'em.

i sold about 1500 cds about 2 to 3 years ago...had all i needed/wanted uploaded to my hard drive. at least 200 or 300 of those were cd-r, and the rest were the originals without the cases/artwork, but they were all in case logic carrying cases. got a couple of hundred bucks i really needed for bills at the time
