Chuitlacoche is far from disgusting. Canned it doesn't look very pretty but that shiate is delicious.

It has a great umami flavor. If I had my druthers they'd be much more popular in the states. It's a poor man's truffle.

If I ever made it onto Fear Factor or Survivor or any type of show like that, I think I could pull my own weight in most of the challenges, but once an eating competition came up (even if I was starving), I'd be the first one out.
