I am going to believe this is all propaganda and never happened.

NBC is only allowed to show Olympic competition video on the internet to users in the United States and U.S. Territories.

Dead for Tax Reasons: when those girls get that syrup in them, they get a little antsy in the pantsy

Our shenanigans are cheeky and fun, but her shenanigans are cruel and tragic.

Anyway, I'm not sure what is more surprising,t hat somebody did this or that a soccer player rolled around on the grass for 9 minutes for a legitimate injury.

Ironically, I can't watch the video, by virtue of being in Canada. Was it a full-on Haynesworth, or more of an off-balance, coming-down-from-a-leap land-on-your-face?

Haynesworth. While the two struggled for position, the US play fell and the Canadian stepped over her and then, quite deliberately, back-stomped her in the side of the head.

If she had done that to Alex Morgan, America would have dropped a nuke on Canada

2012-08-08 03:08:11 PM
Is that the same play where the Cannucks got all the pats on the back for knocking the ball out of bounds instead of playing on like the dirty Americans did when one of their own was down?

/Tancredi is a thug

It looks like she intentionally placed her foot back on the player. She definitely could have avoided her. But it was not a Zidane head butt.

This plus the full-on body check, and the Canuckis have the nerve to cry about penalties being called correctly and idiot defenders who can't tuck their arms behind their backs?

Just checking

Oh, and for what it's worth, Tancredi was the one doing most of the Canuckistani whining after the game about the ref. Maybe it was karmic justice for not getting sent off with a red card, ya hoser.

Would you rather take a headbutt to the chest, or a cleated stomp to the head?

Looks like Tancredi tried to hop over Lloyd's head but forgot she was white and lacked the ability to jump.

Not intentional but completely avoidable.

Dude, she stepped backward to get her in the head. Completely intentional.

You have to be a criminal defense lawyer to pretend that was not intentional.

That's what I see. Dirty, cheap, and unbecoming of an Olympian, but not vicious or an intent to injure.

/Still can't believe how American that game was: go down to an opponent who just won't go away, suffer some rough fouls, fight back, never give up, and win on the final play of the game.
//farking kills me, but makes for great entertainment.
///Still gotta think USA would have tied it up had they not been gifted that penalty, considering how hard they played for the win when tied.

The ball was deflected into her, and she had the natural reaction to try to guard her face. On that sort of free kick, only the defenders in the wall have their arms behind their backs, while the others are generally wrestling for position with the offensive players.

It was a penalty clear as day. She had her arms up and deflected a ball headed towards to goal. I've seen penalties called for much less obvious handballs with hands just away from the body at the side. her elbows well away from her body.

The indirect free kick was a, by rule, correct, but baloney call that's never called.

She was warned. You can't blame them for wanting to stall against a better team. But, once you've been warned for holding the ball, you should start getting rid of it in time.

I think I know the play you're talking about. There was no 'body check'. She went for the ball and got it first. The collision after was unavoidable, but since Tancredi's tackle was ball first, there is no penalty on the play. It's called playing hard defence.

Tancredi played like this almost all game like that. There was a play where she tackled Rapinoe from behind, the ref called the foul, when Rapinoe was going to play the ball Tancredi started berating Rapinoe. Pinoe of course told her to talk to the hand

on Alex's body, her having smaller boobs works in her favor. She's just a fit attractive woman that most men in the country would crawl naked over broken glass and then fap furiously with a cheese grater to get to. I would tell people to check out her body paint bikini in SI (no shiat nsfw) It just works on her.
