Oh yeah, that slut? Ha! That chick must sleep with tons of guys to have to use birth control every day. I heard she was in her school closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and it looked at me.

2012-08-08 12:34:32 AM
I'm sure El RushBo won't make a big farking deal out of this.

2012-08-08 12:35:04 AM
Really? Her claim to fame is that Limbaugh called her a slut and she's the one to introduce Obama? Okaaayyy.

Odd choice...I would have thought a bigger name would be doing that.

2012-08-08 12:35:44 AM
Good for her. She got dragged through the mud by Limbaugh over nothing. She deserves a little thrill for the stress she suffered at that tub of goo's hand.

(And before any self-righteous right wingers jump in - it is her right to testify before Congress, if she is invited. Going up there isn't an instant approval to say anything and everything.)

It's just a fundraiser, not the convention - that's in Charlotte, NC.

I hope she shows up knocked up.

2012-08-08 12:39:24 AM
So...the Dems are going to make the Conservative fiction that she was some sort of Obama operative a self-fulfilling prophecy?

A bigger name than an innocent woman who explained the moral need for birth control coverage for valid medical needs, who was demonized by conservatives based on their wholesale fabrication of her lifestyle, and the additional costs that Republicans wanted to impose on women facing death in order to prevent their potential ovulation and potential abortion?

She testified before Congress in support of modest, reasonable health care reforms. I doubt she expected one iota of "fame" from that. What she got for her trouble was to be vigorously shat upon by the electromagnetic spectrum's anus.

He's like a left handed version of Sam Beckett. Instead of traveling through time using science, feelings and sometimes karate to set right what once went wrong, he travels the nation usings politics, and style doing the same thing (karate provided by the secret service).

I'm not arguing against what she said, so you don't need to get all defensive. The point is nobody would have known about her testimony if it wasn't for Limbaugh. It's an odd choice in that I would have expected an up-and-coming young politician.

2012-08-08 12:53:05 AM
FTFA "Fluke rose to notoriety after testifying in Congress earlier this year". NO. She was just a woman speaking out for women's rights. Rush Limbaugh sunk to new low depths notoriously libeling her.

I have no problem with her testifying or what she said. I'm sure the mass defections of advertisers from the Limbaugh show helped soothe her. He's a douchebag and she certainly didn't deserve to be excoriated for expressing her opinion.

Rush Limbaugh called her a slut repeatedly and obsessively for more than a week until it started to kill both his sponsors AND the PR business that wife beard #4 is in. I think it was threat of divorce from beard #4 that snapped Rush out of his women hatred ranting more than sponsor after sponsor leaving him.

It's a pick to get national momentum, not local. If some Denver Democrat introduced him, nobody but people from Colorado would give a damn. With Fluke he gets to remind the country of the "War on Women" and gain some national press for a relatively banal campaign stop. Obama's playing a pretty clever game lately, in which he's constantly poking at Republican sore spots, begging them to get vitriolic about things they've lost their minds over not only a few months ago.

To non-Republicans, he's saying "Remember this insanity the Republicans were frothing about? We do."

Good point.

Personally I don't understand the fight over birth control when a woman can have an abortion. Blah blah blah, the Church says no birth control. Well the Church also says no premarital sex, but good luck with that. Then again, the Church doesn't approve of abortion in any circumstances (rape, life of the mother) so they're pretty much insane listening to the Invisible Sky Wizard.

On another note, Rush Limbaugh should go fark himself with those tea bottles of his.

Well, they'll be smited just as quickly as those baby killing whores for their wearing of polyblends and working on the sabbath. As well as eating those delightful one way tickets to hell known as shrimp

So Obama wins the women's vote, the hispanic vote, the black vote, the youth vote, the college educated and the urbanites.

Romney wins that weirdly consistent 20%, the 1%, the racists, bigots and homophobes, and roughly 40% of people who answer push polls on land lines.

Not a lot of room for a Venn diagram there. Maybe one of Romney's anti-Venn things, I guess.

You know what really pisses me off about this? By and large men are what causes women to be pregnant. So when some dumbass says "it's so she can have sex for free" it comes with misogynistic belief "It's women responsibility for contraception and men shouldn't ever pitch in.

Well, it trolls the tards, thus making the tards more vocal in their tard behavior, thus giving the Dems the opportunity to claim that the tards speak for the GOP.

It's the GOP's fault for fomenting extremism in order to attain short term victories

I predict this topic will be a bastian of good will and positive remarks by the Fark republicans and "independents" towards Ms. Fluke. Because you know, they always claim to be morally and socially superior to everyone else on the planet.

That's what I've never understood about the issue either. "This slut wants birth control so that she can fark all day and all night without having to risk nine months of pregnancy, what a whore!" Well, as a guy, nothing is more of an aphrodisiac to me than a woman who can fark all day and all night without a risk of pregnancy, and without me having to wear a condom. It seems like everyone benefits in the birth control situation.

I'm not saying I wouldn't throw a shot into Ellen, because I would. For the novelty, alone; I think we all would. And who doesn't enjoy a little intimate laughter? But I gotta be honest, if Portia de Rossi is naked in a room with me, if Ellen is there, she's gonna be holding the video camera. I'll even entertain taking some direction, but she's holding the camera, and holding it steady.

"Well he could say its because Ms. Fluke is just a better person than you, but that would be setting the bar pretty low. Actually, it would be setting the bar in a 50 foot hole in the ground and filling it up with concrete and what little shame you may have - but who's really keeping track, right?"
