Occasionally the commercials are broken up by a few seconds of something resembling an athletic competition, and a few minutes of Bob Costas saying something that might make sense in an alternate universe. But then NBC remembers to go back to showing commercials, so that we don't miss any.

I just about can't follow this NBC coverage.
It's absurd. Commercials up until the ragged edge of when you're ready to give up, then three minutes of sports, then Costas blabs, repeat.
Is it just me?
