This would be better as a Weekend at Bernie's reference. Radio plays music, Bernie drives down the street. Ad comes on Bernie collapses and veers off the road. Music back on, Bernie steers back into traffic. Traffic and weather on the 8's caused the final crash as Bernie can only respond to music, did not know the northbound lane was jammed up.

Chris Rock had a monologue about if you are ever near a Martin Luther King Blvd, RUN!!!!

Vegas always had weird stuff like this happening when I lived there. Although I thought MLK Blvd was only in North Las Vegas, didn't realize it went into Vegas as well.

I had my car break down about 200 yards from the intersection featured in this article once (so im getting a kick). I was quite miffed at myself for not heeding Mr Rock's advice..

Around here you'd get a ticket for MGL 90-13, impeded operation, because you're not supposed to drive while bullet holes are distracting you.

The local Nissan dealership must be a big advertiser in the paper. Maxima was mentioned ten times in the article.

Of course he did- being dead isn't a good excuse.

I'm not sure about the "that's racist" response, but what i got out of that was: "Leave the gun, take the cannoli".

Much like the spouse is the primary suspect in a murder investigation. I think you may be clearing the police a little early here.

I think MLK turns into Camino al Norte when it crosses Lake Mead into NLV. But it's been years since I've been over there, and I generally avoid that part of town.

So the cops got upset that he wasn't respecting their authority and executed him. Knowing that they can basically do this with impunity at this point they create a cover story that only an American would believe.

wouldn't it have been cool if they had tased him and it brought him back to life?

Is Cleveland the only large city where MLK Blvd isn't a complete shiathole? In Cleveland it runs along the edge of the arts district where the world class museums of art and natural history are located, as well as Severance Hall (home of the Cleveland Orchestra).
