Gunny Highway: The Dude is stylish?

He's anti-style. Which I guess is the same justification for including Marty McFly, since he is conspicuously poorly dressed.

Seriously, where did he get that terrible shirt? And the life-preserver jacket? Don't tell me it was the 80s. It's a goddamn life-preserver!

Say what you like about the deconstructionist fashion of permanent stonerism, Dude, at least it's a style.

Michael Caine should be on that list several times over. Watching Batman, it's shocking to realize that Alfred's suits cost more than most people make in a year.

i was pleasantly surprised by Mesrine. Watched those last year and they are damn good movies. I was all surprised by Marty McFly, but not so much pleasantly. That wasnt real style, but a parody of style.

I wonder if Brad Pitt had/has to fight the urge to dress up as "Tyler Durden" every day.
It's just an awesome look (and character), and Pitt is probably the only person alive that can pull it off.

Now I always thought the basic rule of stripes was the 2/3 rule. Between your shirt, tie, and suit, only two out of three should have stripes. But, I am willing to admit that the movie people know more than I do. I will say I have that same shirt/tie.

The list should probably also have Neo from The Matrix.
