The Dude is stylish?

Gunny Highway: The Dude is stylish?

He's anti-style. Which I guess is the same justification for including Marty McFly, since he is conspicuously poorly dressed.

Seriously, where did he get that terrible shirt? And the life-preserver jacket? Don't tell me it was the 80s. It's a goddamn life-preserver!

Say what you like about the deconstructionist fashion of permanent stonerism, Dude, at least it's a style.

How is Mr. Blonde one of the most stylish characters when they were all purposely dressed the same??

Michael Caine should be on that list several times over. Watching Batman, it's shocking to realize that Alfred's suits cost more than most people make in a year.

Rick was all about style.

i was pleasantly surprised by Mesrine. Watched those last year and they are damn good movies. I was all surprised by Marty McFly, but not so much pleasantly. That wasnt real style, but a parody of style.

I wonder if Brad Pitt had/has to fight the urge to dress up as "Tyler Durden" every day.
It's just an awesome look (and character), and Pitt is probably the only person alive that can pull it off.

I noticed that 'Driver' made the list. I instantly thought of this:

• The costume department did a good job of making "the Driver" look really, really cool.

• But I think they could have gone a little further and given him a couple more accoutrement ("accooltrement?"):

That's awesome. I'm reminded of an old Vice Dos and Don'ts which had a picture of a dude riding a skateboard while playing the sax and it said something like "your aunt thinks this is really cool."

Brings memories back of a shirt I owned as a kid that was similar, but had indy type cars instead of motorcycles.

Clint Eastwood could wear your Aunt Penny's pink and purple hand stitched quilt and still look stylish and cool.

Really, no Johnny Strabler (Brando) from the Wild One? James Dean ripped his look from Brando. Hell, the Driver from Drive owes his cool look to that movie, too.
