WelldeadLink: There is no need to film cricket in slow motion.

If you speed it up it looks like they're playing baseball.

...nah, doesn't have the same ring to it. Cricketermen? Fisherspiders? Spidermen?

I'M NOT LISTENING

artthehypnotist: Just an FYI...

Very few people realize just how beneficial spiders really are. According to a study of spiders initiated in England and Holland, there are 131 spiders per square meter, most of which are very small. But, here's the interesting part: If you average out the actual weight of the "bug juice" consumed by these spiders, then multiply that by the number of square meters in the world where spiders live, you come up with an astonishing figure. Spiders of the world consume over 1,870,000,000 lbs. of bug food PER DAY!! If we say that the average human weighs 150 lbs., then spiders eat the equivalent weight of over 12,400,000 people PER DAY!!! Now, imagine if spiders (and other beneficial creatures, like bats) went on a hunger strike for a week! All those bugs wouldn't get eaten! Link

fusillade762: Yeah, cool except for the whole "spending 5 hours staring at a motionless spider" part.

After 15 minutes I'd be like "fark this" and then I'd go grab a cricket and place it on that damn branch, "get in there cricket."

Too bad the article about the video that you made didn't even acknowledge your presence there, Sophie. Ditch that dead weight you're working with and come film spiders with me instead. I'll put your name in lights.

They totally looked at each other like they are going to fark. You just know he is usually a strict, uptight, dominant personality, always stingy with approval and praises. You can tell when she nervously asks if she can check the shot first. Had she failed, he would have made her life hell, with passive aggressive digs and disapproving looks. But she succeeded, while the cameras were watching them, so she gets to taste it tonight.

Really, the whole thing gives off a sub-dom vibe.
