Friskya: I approve of this.

Indeed.

That's seriously boss.

Here's a pic from the guy's website. It was taken at the time of the City of Hope Pediatric Cancer Survivor's Picnic in LA's Griffith Park:

Great, now I gotta go watch Wall-E and Up.....thanks dicks.

Just kidding. good on that guy and EXTREME props to Disney/Pixar for not going all butt hurt on him and making him stop. As long as he doesn't sell replicas or do this stuff for money he should be in the clear.

Have they said they won't? I didn't see any mention of reaction from them in the article.

He's been out doing gigs and in the one video posted in the comments of the TFA it appears he even took it to Disneyland (or world, its hard to tell)

So I think they're ok with it. Notice George Lucas didn't sue his ass into oblivion over the R2-D2?

He was building an EVA, but Apple sent a cease and desist order.

Wouldn't they do that with Wall-E also? It does use the Mac boot sound when "he" powers up.

I believe on the Special Edition of Wall-E there's a epk that shows a RC full size Wall-E at Disneyland and at Pixar.

Of course Disney has plenty of money and resources to build it... so props to this guy doing it on his own.
