FirstNationalBastard: Your Average Witty Fark User: DrMcNinja: I didn't see any Twilight Zone episodes, I saw a bunch of color television garbage. What I learned from TFA is that the color version sucks, and the black and white will always be superior./I already knew thisWhich isn't true.Twilight Zone '85 had some decent stories and writers. It was just handled horribly by CBS, and the shiattiness of the third season drags down the rest of the run. Plus, if you see it in Syndication, it suffers from Night Gallery syndrome... they chopped the hourlong episodes up so they could fit in a half hour slot, so large chunks of story are either padded out or missing.
peeweechrist: why would anybody watch a Twilight Zone reboot?
Mugato: peeweechrist: Perhaps the most confounding thing about this list is why would anybody watch a Twilight Zone reboot?/OTZ//Original Twilight ZoneThere's nothing inherently wrong with the TZ remakes. It's not like the original, while innovative at the time, was all that profound.

It's not like the original, while innovative at the time, was all that profound. In fact, it was pretty schmaltzsy at times, and Serling himself wrote some of the worst. I say this as a huge TZ fan. No problem with new Twilight Zones or anthology sci-fi/horror series.
Gergesa: I don't recall the exact plot details but there was an episode with George Takai that made an impression on me when I was younger. It was also a very controversial episode in that it tried to cover the relationship between Japan and America. If I remember correctly both men were caught up in a desire for revenge and both wound up dead from that desire.
Nickster79: There are only two modern Twilght Zone eps that hold up along side the classics:Dealer's Choice starring Morgan Freeman and bunch of other good actors playing a card game with the devil.Gramma, the adaptation of Stephen King's story of the same name that scared the absolute piss out of me as a kid.
GloomCookie613: *slow clap*That was lovely.
erewhon: For the record, "Need to Know" not only kicked ass, it is the most congruent episode with my twisted sense of humor./come here, I'll tell you a secret
