The Homer Tax: smitty04: The Homer Tax: Why are people so insecure about their religions that they need to pull shiat like this? Keep your religious icons off of government property, you have houses of worship for a Farking reason.

True, but that attitude is why no Democrat could win in Tennessee

I don't see your point - No democrat could win in TN because the people of TN are idiots who hate the Constitution?

Some see it as an attack on religion, others see it as separating religion from politics. People in Tennessee see it as an attack, Residents of Memphis will vote Democratic even if a yellow dog was on the ticket. Most people in Tennessee wish that the Mississippi river would change course and place Memphis in a different state.

Actress Park Overall (nurse from Empty Nest) was the Democrats preferred candidate but she was sick for most of the summer and couldn't campaign.

Memphis is a farking hole and it's everyone's fault.

The black Democrats in the City biatch about the whites in suburbs and the county, and the White Suburban Republicans biatch about the blacks in the city. And don't tell me there isn't still any racial tension down there.

None of you dipshiats can get your act together which is why you can never get anything done in Memphis unless it's in downtown.

Was that bad? Should we not have done that?

smitty04: People in Tennessee see it as an attack,

People in Tennessee aren't that bright then.

It's not a farking attack, they've pretended to be persecuted for their beliefs ever since someone had the audacity to teach evolution in their schools.

Get the fark over it. You're not being persecuted so stop pretending you are.

Hey, I know someone here in the Bay Area named Mark Clayton. I'll have to send him a link to this story... ;^)

This guy can't be all bad, though. He appears to like his dog.

Oh, and I have a relative in Tennessee who used to send our family a Christmas card each year with some sort of "This is a CHRISTMAS CARD! It ain't a Hanukkah Card!" message on it...knowing full well my mother is Jewish.

Does living in Tennessee turn one into that kind of dick?

Well you have to understand that they're subjected to living in Tennessee, so yes.

It will be interesting to watch.

How is that different from most major cities in this country. Chicago and Memphis stand out because the politicians are totally corrupt and keep getting reelected.

2012-08-04 01:47:40 PM
Is that even possible in Tennessee subby?

Well, things have happened to Democrats in Texas, so I don't blame The President for being cautious of where he goes in the deep south.

Mark Clayton believes the federal government is building a massive, four-football-field wide superhighway from Mexico City to Toronto as part of a secret plot to establish a new North American Union that will bring an end to America as we know it.

The South has a long history of catering to the voters rather than the rule of law, the Duke Lacrosse rape case was the perfect example of a prosecutor (D) wanting to please the voters rather than seeing justice was served. The same reason for George Zimmerman being arrested.

There is no reason that, in the 21st century, we can't have candidates for each public office listed in a different random order on every ballot.

Plus, randomizing the ballot order would make it at least a little more difficult for human vote rigging and fraud.

Weak Sauce. Wallace left the Democratic Party because his beliefs didn't match with the party's in terms of Civil Rights.

I thought you'd have something better than this stale shiat.

2012-08-04 02:19:43 PM
Let me guess smitty04, you're one of those tards who tries to pretend that the GOP didn't actively court segregationists and tap into the resentment that many white southerners had against the Civil Rights Act by campaigning in the name of "States Rights", because that would completely destroy your narrative that you're trying to push.

Been there, destoryed that narrative a long time ago.

Surely you are not saying that Democrats are so simple minded that they vote the party line and the name at the top of the list. Most people are accustomed to reading the ballot and putting some thought into it.

Where is the racism which is the reason for most elections?

"President Obama's inability to break 60 percent of the vote against "uncommitted" in Tuesday's Kentucky Democratic primary drew national headlines and set off a debate about the role race and culture played in the strong vote against the incumbent."

It means self-styled/self-proclaimed, with an implication that it isn't accurate - so it could be used for most "Democratic Peoples Republic of X", Republicans claiming to be about cutting government spending, or most anonymous people on the internet who claim to be experts on something (i.e. virtually everyone on the internet).
